Thoughts on Woodcrest and BC

One of the biggest questions I get here, is 'What happened to Woodcrest?', which is kind of an exaggeration because most of you aren't even reading it. So why did I stop writing it exactly? I first want to say that when I first started writing here, I began with Allison's Pledge because there were no good sorority stories on here. Now I know that many of you are going to provide links to what you think is the best sorority story on here and I just want to say no, it isn't.

The Interview Nears Completion

Okay, just a quick update. I've reached the 81k word mark and there are still two chapters left to write. I think the first SoTF book will top out at 92k words, which makes it roughly as long as Twilight. Not the greatest comparison but if you were looking for a good doorstop this book will probably suffice.

A few changes have been made. Yes, there will be more parts with Donna as she is responsible for giving Astra her humanity. Parts with Kerra have also been expanded, and we're going to see more exploration of Ereen itself.

Update on Astra

Hey everyone, it's me, again. I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still laid up with a sore ankle and while I haven't found the stupid flash drive containing Deshima, I have been working a LOT on The Interview. It's grown from 32,000 words to about 75,000 as of right now so we're making a lot o progress. Once I've finished and edited, I'll be publishing it on Amazon and have it removed here, so that's something you can all look forward to.

Deshima and Me

Hey everyone, it's me, your favorite passive aggressive author here with some notes on The Interview and Deshima Serendipity. You're probably wondering wtf I'm doing with Deshima. I've noticed the views going down so I can only assume that either you hate me as a person (I hate me with a fucking passion), or I'm not delivering the same type of story as before. It's the latter, by the way. Deshima Serendipity is a very different story in a few ways. First of all, it's a sequel to The Interview but it's not focusing on Astra.

Wrapping it Up

We're at the end now, Kerra's true nature has been revealed, Astra has escaped, presumably to Earth, and the fate of Ereen is uncertain. All that's left now is an epilogue, but it won't be giving you the answers you want, at least not all of them. There are a lot of questions, for example, what happened to Astra's mother, is Astra ever reunited with her? How does Callie feel about the whole situation? The thing is, I could go on, I could keep writing, and writing, and revealing more as I went, but if I did that, it would get stale, the story would dry up, and it just wouldn't be the same.

The Interview- We're in the endgame now

Hey everyone I just wanted to apologize for the delay in publishing The Interview. There are a few things working against me, the first being that I've been working at the hospital the past few days and I don't have a day off until next week. The second is that we're near the end of the story and the last few chapters are proving very emotional for me. They're longer, they're more thought provoking, and they're triggering for me. Just give me a bit though, I'll have them out to you soon. Thanks for sticking with me!

The story has to end

My writing process is a little weird. I get into these moods of depression, anxiety, and a craving for soft pretzels that will never be appeased, and the only way out is to write. Allison's Pledge was the first time I shared my frantic writing with anyone, then came Woodcrest which was a failure because honestly, I was just trying to ride the wake of Allison's Pledge. Guess the popularity was kind of a rush but in the end, most people didn't like it. So here we are in another depressive funk, a binge drinking episode, and The Interview at the center of it.

In Defense of my Drunken Blog Post

I would like to apologize for my drunken blog post last night, but I won't, because we don't always get what we want. What I will say is that when I write fast, and good, it usually means that something is horribly wrong in my life and I'm trying to sort out my internal emotions by using the written word so what you're seeing is a basic representation of the shit show going on in my head.

The Interview - Random Thoughts

We're about 2/3 of the way through 'The Interview', with the story getting ready to start winding down, but I had planned to do some expanded meta things, like blog posts, news articles, etc, to help flesh out the story. Unfortunately, I just found out that when I do that, BC moderators will actually remove the mainline story from the front page, meaning people won't see the latest installment. If anyone cared, Chapter 15 was released yesterday...and is now moved off.

Woodcrest - Rants and Stuff

So I felt inclined to post a rant because Woodcrest is pissing me off more than usual. Over the last...eight months I've been writing the series I paid attention to what the readers were saying and progressively dumbed down the story because a lot of you just weren't 'getting it'. I just hit rock bottom the other day when someone asked 'What drug was Audrey given'? (paraphrased). Okay folks, the drug 'Miratran', which I'm not going to explain here, has been the central theme of the series for at least three books, and across all three series.

The Future of Angela's Legacy

Everyone has probably notice that Angela's Legacy has been lagging behind and I have a few reasons. First and foremost, I want to point out that for a group of readers that claim to hate forced fem, Chapter 1, which was nothing but torture porn and forced fem has gotten a LOT of views. 3300 or so. What the hell, guys?

Piecing together the shit show that is Angela's Legacy

H'okay, so, here are the cliff notes:

Angela was called away by the Seelie council to investigate the disappearance of Eustace (the Armadillo). After she and Anabelle left, something went wrong - we're not sure what because no one is telling the main character anything.

Ready to Arc?

To put it simply, writing Angela's Legacy has been a god damn roller coaster. I've spent an abusurd amount of time developing these characters in my head, especially Meredith who was kind of a cookie cutter bitch at the beginning. I've gotten a lot of negative feedback, a lot of positive feedback, and one person in my inbox who has informed me that they hate my story because they were sworn to fight fairies in Morocco or something. I don't think they were kidding.

Bear with me guys

Okay, I know I probably have fans of Woodcrest, Makayla, and wtf ever else I write, and you're probably wondering why the stories have stopped. Simple answer: I burned out. It's not forever, I just need like a week, I swear. There are some stories that are easier for me to write right now, like Dark Pantheon, I could do that all day. Allison's Test is where I'm running into trouble - it's just not sounding right.

Begging Angela - Title Change Imminent

Hi everyone, I'm etox, or as some of you know me, Audrissa, the bitch who writes Allison's Pledge. I wrote Begging Angela under this name to keep it separate from Woodcrest, AP/T, Makayla, and Dark Pantheon as they're all very much connected and this story definitely isn't. There are a few differences between this and my other stories, the biggest one being that I have no direction in writing it - I don't know what I'm going to write when I open Word, there is no outline, and I'm just as surprised by what comes out as you are. God help you all, and especially me.

Getting back on track

For the five people that are still reading Allison/Audrey and Makayla, I'll be getting back to writing them shortly. I had a few emergencies in real life, after which I contemplated just trashing the entire series because the views are going down faster than I do on my domme at 2:00 on a Sunday but eh, I'll keep going. Here's to six more months of writing crap that no one cares about :D

Slowing Down

You guys have probably noticed that my writing is slowing down a bit, and there are a few reasons. First of all, I'm working during the day, and second, I've reached a point where I've run out of pre-written material. One thing you don't have to worry about is me not finishing - the outlines for all of the stories are written and yes, I know how it ends. That said, I would totally love to open up a forum here to answer any questions you might have about the series if it's not a spoiler - what do you want to know?

Still Alive

Hey, just want to let everyone know that I'm still alive and I haven't abandoned the Woodcrest universe. I'm a freelancer so I get called to do odd jobs every once in a while; this week I'm in lab updating electronic devices. I'll try to write some tomorrow though! Allison's Test is the next story in the cycle, then we go back to Dark Pantheon and so on.

Odds and Ends

First and foremost, I want to apologize to everyone waiting for the next chapter of Allison's Test. I know I usually post faster than this but I've been working a lot, and I'm revising Allison's Pledge for an eventual release to Amazon. I didn't get a response from Doppler Press, unfortunately, so I'm going to self publish and that requires me to get a cover for the paperback printing. I also want to add a few new chapters to AP to expand on the story, so get ready for something new when it finally does hit Amazon. That's about all I have for right now - back to work for me!

Woodcrest - Not a forced fem story

I've tried to make this one clear before but it's not getting though: Woodcrest is not a forced fem story. I know that in this environment it's what people have come to expect and are looking for around every corner but I want to assure you that my characters are not sadistic, nor do they want to enslave my main character. They're literally just awful people trying to do something good and failing at it because they have no idea how to care about anyone besides themselves. There is character development, but this is a series - it won't be resolved in the first few chapters.

Preparing for Woodcrest

Hey everyone! First and foremost I want to thank everyone who read and commented on Allison's Pledge; you guys are awesome. Since that's over I want to move on to the next big thing which is Woodcrest. There are a few things that you need to know about it, which are the following:

1. While similar to Allison's Pledge it was written first and is a much more detailed story

2. Unlike Allison's Pledge the story is designed to introduce even more themes of moral ambiguity and to make you question whether or not you even like your favorite characters

The End of Allison's Pledge?

Hey everyone, Karissa here. I've been writing Allison's Pledge for what seems like forever, though if we're going to be honest it's been about two weeks. The first part started as a bit of an experiment that came out of utter exaustion and mild depression and to be honest it was only supposed to be about three parts. I found that I didn't want to leave Allison's world, so I just kept writing, and writing, and writing until we're finally at the point we see now.
