II just read a book called "the conclave" by Robert Harris. It has a surprise ending that might be of interest to readers here. Warning! Do not read if you are a Catholic who thinks that there is anything but politics at work in the election of the pope.

After trying several other drugs for prostate enlargement, my doctor prescribed a testosterone antagonist called finasteride. Is this one of the testosterone blockers spoken of in these pages? It's side effects include tenderness of the nipples, and according to my doctor, enlargement of breasts that are already there due to gynocomastia.
Is there anything else I should know before taking this drug?
“You see it from a man’s point of view-you see sex as a coupling, like two cars in a train attaching themselves to each other with a gentle crunch. Women see it as a penetration, an invasion, an assault with or without battery, which leaves scars, some of which are visible, most of which are concealed. Can’t you understand? At different points in our lives we are different people. These points can be days apart, even hours, it doesn’t matter. Women love differently then men. We spend our lives trying to figure out . what it means to be female.
My wife has been away for three weeks. This has allowed Liz to come out to play. Crossdressing seems to have lost it's zest. And of course, passing was never going to be possible for a girl who was a linebacker in high school, and still looks the part, if somewhat heavier.
Crossdressing and haunting BCTS has been taking too much of my time. I did little else for the last three weeks! I guess I need to spend more time paying attention to my wife and farm, and to just get on with life!
Two days ago, I wrote a long, and I thought perceptive post entitled "Vulnerability". I hit "preview", and then after checking it, hit "upload". The site told me it had been posted.
Later, I checked for responses. I could find no evidence that the blog had been posted, neither on the front page, nor on my blog.
I woke up this morning thinking about why we write. All of us, not just “authors”. The answer, of course is that we have something to say. It might be how it feels to be transgendered, or about seeing the humor in a difficult situation. It might be “I hurt”, and here’s why. It might be as simple as “I’m too tired to write an episode tonight.”.
It’s all about communicating something about our selves. As such, this communication deserves the dignity of having it’s message stated clearly, and without confusion.
I just wrote a long comment to Katie Leone about why she was seeing so few comments and Kudos for OEM. I read six of the seven chapters today. I had to search for them as the list of chapters at the right of the screen was screwed up.
The same was true of the forward and back controls. Sometimes they were absent, sometimes they gave nonsensical options. Chapter 7, for instance listed chapter 4 for back and chapter 5 for forward.
Just a shot in the dark, here, I decided to reread "The Joe Bates Saga" ay Sapphire's Place, after many years. I've gotten up to chapter 10 so far, except that the links for chapters 7 and 9 were broken. I don't know who, if anyone is responsible for the site, so I though that I would mention iy here. Does anyone know who I should contact?
I just came across an old favorte, Marina Twelve's "Blind Sided", over on Sapphire's Place. The only problem is that I remember there being more than two parts to the story, and there are only two on SP. neither searching this site, nor Google yielded anything relevant.
I just finished watching Sally Potter's masterful retelling of Virginia Woolf's novel, Orlando. For those of you that don't know it, the plot concerns a man (Tilda Swinton), who is commanded by Queen Elizabeth I, played delightfully here by Quentin Crisp, to stay forever young, which he/she proceeds to do. I say he/she because halfway through the 400 year timeline of the plot, he wakes up female. She looks in the mirror and states "Same person, just a different sex". You can see why I thought that it might appeal to the habitues of this site.
It strikes me that I'm not the only one with this problem. I frequently get very busy an don't have time to do the reading that I would like to. When I do go back to the list, the stories that I had wanted to read are no longer on the front page and I have forgotten about them.
Would it be possible to have something like Amazon's wish list, so that one could tag stories to be read, and easily come back to them later? Could it even optionally pop up when one logged on?
I'm concerned about Little Katie after her somewhat cryptic message yesterday, and her recent posts. I note that the message was removed from the site. Does anyone know what her situation is? Is she okay?
I've ben bra shopping. I need a 44 A, I think, and I'm not finding it in the local stores. Somone recently posted some good mail order places for unusual sizes. I could really use that information again!
Her I am again! You have to pardon me if the typing isn't perfect, but I'm wearing nail polish for the first time in a long time, and it's not quite dry. And, oh yeah, I'm not quite sober. Panties, cork soled wedge heels and a long dress with built in bra cups. I can't tell you how good it feels
