Faye had a beer open and sitting on the table. Bobbie had looked at him crossways for that.

“What?” He asked, taking a swig.

“He had a problem.”

“So did you, don’t get all high and mighty now.”

Bobbie rolled her eyes. “I’m not. I just…”

“Fuck. Sorry, Faye.”

The vibrating phone threatened to resurrect the erection that had been running off and on all day. Being aroused all the time was one thing if your state wasn’t telegraphed so easily.

040 – Out With The Old

“Are you an author or professor or something?” she timidly asked. Credence had ridden on the elevator with him a dozen times and increasingly wondered about him. He seemed so dignified? What was this magnetism she felt for him? Maybe he was dangerous to her, could perhaps hurt her, take advantage of her or even kill her? Why did he never come to the potlucks? He was civil, even friendly to her but it had never gone beyond the usual pleasantries and a sentence or two.

I’m Nicole. I’m Sabrina’s twin sister. Yes I get upset at times and she is the only one to calm me down. My baby brother Jamie does not like a normal little boy but he will tell you that. It has been a week since mom and dad have died. And I keep reliving the nightmare every night. It has gotten so bad now that I started wetting the bed. The people that run the group home say I’m old enough to know better but it’s so hard when you keep having the same dream over and over again. Sabrina had been so good to me.
