The Accidental Soprano
A Short Story
By Maryanne Peters
They said that I was fortunate that the injury did not cause lasting damage, but that was before it changed my life. I am not bitter towards the surgeons that repaired my neck. I have used surgeons since, and I am grateful to them. Surgeons have to do what they do to let us live, or to normal lives.
Randy loves nothing more in life than motorcycles. When his friend Nick gives him the opportunity to join in as monkey during a sidecar race, he jumps at the chance -- even if it means wearing pink leathers.
This is a fan fiction set in the Firefly/Serenity universe created by Joss Whedon. It takes place soon after the events in the television series and the companion motion picture that followed, and is also the sixth part of a sequel to Firefly: Connecting Flight. This means it has SPOILERS, folks, and major ones at that. So please don't read this unless you get the chance to see the series and the movie -- and read my first Firefly story (and the first five chapters of this one).
In the sixth part of FIREFLY: DOUBLE BOOKED, The crew stages a big damn rescue, and everyone's invited -- you, too, folks. *grin* Will the plan go smooth? Read on and find out!!
More shopping of course, and oh by the way, school has to start again.
Authors note: I can not help but express my appreciation enough to cewesson for finding the 300 plus errors in grammar, word usage, spelling, and editing. The remaining 3,000 errors are still my own. Koalas
Written by a loving wife who, with her husband's tacit agreement, embarked upon a plan to introduce a third person, Annie, into their marriage, this life story has reached just 2-3 weeks into the process. It does not involve submission or domination, transgendering, or homosexuality. It does involve graphic sexual experiences from time-to-time, as the rejuvenation of our love lives has been a wonderful consequence of my plan.

Halloween Revenge
Two A.M. is the real witching hour. Take, for example one September morning at two. An observer in this particular town might have had their attention drawn to a back alley in a disreputable part of town.
There, in the shadows, there was a door. It looked like a very old door, possibly older than the bricks around it. The observer would have seen black smoke escape from a small space under the door, curling in the night air.

Standing Up to Life: Book 3
Part 11 of 23
by Tiffany Shar
Intro by Carla Ann
“Tiffany, I’ve asked you how everything is going with people and the activities you’re involved in, but you haven’t mentioned how you are coping with everything.” She emphasized the ‘you,’ when she asked that.
“Well, better than I was last year,” I started. “Way better than last year… I have a lot of friends now, and I’m not getting picked on every day.” I saw her eyes boring into me looking for something else. “Alright, I don’t know how I’m doing right now.” I told her honestly.
“What do you mean?” She asked.
“Well for one I’m really tired of everyone guessing I’m five if I wear the wrong clothes.” I told her hesitantly. I was sure my parents had filled her in with everything anyway, “Tuesday was pajama day. Mom and I had found some cute pajamas with feet on them that would fit Amy and me, so we wore them for pajama day. We really did look cute dressed like that, and I was having a lot of fun with it. That was until the sub in English class thought that I was someone’s little sister that had come them to school that day.”
I was really surprised Dr. Reynolds didn’t laugh about it, but I continued, “Then the next day the whole squad was wearing shortalls and our hair done in pigtails and I looked to be about five again. One of my best friends even brought a doll to school to play a joke on the sub that we’d had. I don’t think she knew that it really upset me though. I’m not five, I’m twelve! Amy has grown about five inches here in the last couple months, but I’m still the same height I was last year. It’s good for cheerleading stuff because people can toss me so easily… but…” I was doing my best to not go into tears over all of this. “as long as we’ve got my puberty stopped then I won’t be doing much growing. That’s all on top of the fact that I’m never going to be able to have periods like my friends… and I’m stuck with this stupid thing between my legs,” I told her with a great deal of exasperation. “I’m so tired of having to look at it, or hide it, every time I turn around. I know you can’t do anything about it till I’m eighteen – but I wish it could be gone now!” I had gone to tears now.
Mary sat on the edge of the bed looking at me intently.
“You sound real serious.”
“Well, I just want us to not have any secrets. When we were talking about my past a while back, I left out some things that are important to who I am.”
Last month, I felt a strange urge to write new, TG words to an old song. Maybe my subconscious was responding to the stories and poems based on songs that many authors posted several months ago. Sometimes I'm just very slow. 8)
I made up the "punch line" for this song a long time ago, but, I'm sure, not before I was post op!
I included the lyrics for the original song; some might be interested.
Bob Wallace was at the end of his rope– broke, hungry, in need of a drink and about to be murdered until a strange train and an even stranger passenger showed him the way to Ovid and a new life.
I wasn't prepared to hear Mr. Stuart's guffaw. "Please, call me John." 'Call me John'? What the fuck's got into him?
"OK, John. I'm sure Miss Willows will get me settled in," she said as she gave me a wink.
"Miss Willows!" he said as he guffawed again. I could see tears flow from his eyes. "She does have a point, Willows. Cut that hair," he said right before he fell backward along with his chair. Even while on the floor, he was still laughing. I've never seen him like this. Did he get super lucky on the slopes of Switzerland or something?
The Half-Lilin By The Light Of The Moon Chapter 1

Shortly afterwards I went to bed, I think Helena wanted to ask me more questions, but I said I was very tired. Not a lie, I was tired, drained, I felt a bit sick, confused and a lot of other things...
Bev's face was like thunder and her voice hard. "Give me the keys." Tom stood before her in the bedroom like a frightened rabbit, clad only in a bra filled out with tissues and matching panties which scarcely covered his chastity belt. She held out her hand. "Give me the keys!" she said again.
"I can't," Tom stammered "they're in the car."
"Then get them." Adding "Go just as you are" as Tom reached for a dressing gown. "And no shoes, either!" as he bent down to put on some slippers.
