It was an ad in a local newspaper, what brought my attention to it was the photograph of a female hand located right in the middle of the ad. The hand had beautiful long nails, done in a bright red polish, the rose nail art adding to the elegance of the hand.

The ad was announcing a contest for any interested parties. The winner would be the one with the longest, most beautiful nails after six months.

“Ex- excuse me?” The young woman asks, her facemask muffling her soft Yorkshire accent. “Can — can we get a selfie with you, please?” I allow myself a small chuckle as I turn to face the asker of the question — a girl barely older than sixteen, standing with three others of her age. All of them are wearing t-shirts with cartoon caricatures on the front and, even though I can’t see them, angel wing prints on the back, just like all t-shirts promoting the group I tried — and failed — to join.

The visual of Amy’s words didn’t help in the slightest. Nor did Julia’s teasing suggestion.

Unfortunately, the whole nature of ‘Would You Rather’ was being stuck with two bad options. The immature game was just normally choices that were completely out of context, rather than a pointed question related to the thoroughly feminine transformation he had undergone. And there was no getting away from it now that his cousin had implied the blackmail that started all of this.

The other high rollers that were there might have been impressed with his act, but she noticed Sasha wasn’t amused or entertained. This was all going too quick, or so one of the Greek chorus of voices in my head was proclaiming, while another was insisting that going at any speed at all, over any period whatsoever, would remain too quick. Did I not love my wife? How could I even think of heading down that path?

The Gnochi in this case is doing the singing with BlauHase on a more serious level, as a 'hobby' its fine but could this be a change of career? Sex and power go together for a succubus and Lorilei learns to enjoy both with a spicy bit of Chaos as well. But there are dangers even for one of The Damned and Lorilei needs to watch her cute little tail with the spade-shaped point on the end.
