or at least a return to warmer weather.
I know we needed some wet but we didn't need the high winds but the last couple of days have been verging on pleasant, the wind less strong, temperatures in the higher teens. So what have i been up to? Well tbh not a lot, Monday was taken up largely by some chores before an afternoon of gardening.
And yesterday, Tuesday, well i wasn't feeling that enthused so my ride, all 50km of it, consisted of a trip down the Avon to the docks and back, not particularly testing or scenic but i found some new roads, took it steady and returned @ 3 hours after departure. Then, well mostly i sat in the garden watching the birds and bees, definitely a chill out.
Today, well the washing is on the line, i'll be cropping more fruit including the first cherries next then this afternoon i may well go into the city as i need to get some gas for next weeks trip. Ah yes, next weeks trip. So next week i'm going up to GOC for the bike gathering in York, i'll be taking Foxy on the coach to Leeds where i'll spend the night with my kids, build GS's new bike and sort out getting them to York for the GS's first camping trip. I have a plan, we just need to put it into action.
But more on all that next week. Hopefully i'll get in some more writing before the weekend and i've every expectation of getting in a couple of half decent rides.
I'll be back on Sunday complete with new Gaby, but for now,
Ciao,
Madeline Anafrid
