I'm embarrassed on this request. There was a long story posted recently about a guy who marries his long time sweetheart and moves to Arizona for school. He is of native American ancestry and is a "two spirit" person. Many adventures and accomplishments. I don't think the tale ended and I think I remember the author mentioning health issues. It hasn't been that long but I can't remember the author or full name of the story.

Read a story on KGW News Internet. It seems that the VA will start doing Sex Change Surgeries. I wonder if they will farm them out to a huge hospital next door? In 2007 I had to pay for my own.

Chapter 10 is written! I'm going to release it this coming Friday. So not only do you have the weekend to look forward to you have a new chapter too!

It catches Walker's storyline up to the Intermission. Let's just say mistakes were made and there's a surprise in there as well.

I'm interested in a beta reader for this one. I'm looking for someone who is willing to be really open about what I've written. Weirdly the part I want feedback on was not planned at all which is why I need feedback.

I am grateful to have been at this site for just yonks. My stories have been reasonably well received, thank you very much. No one has chided me for not being the most clever writer, so I feel secure and happy.

I'm not sure why, but I'm feeling super dysphoric and pathetic.

"Fitness Class" was a solo. Or at least, I could have sworn it was.

But here I am, posting a follow up about a third the original's size. The "universe" does not have a name (other than "Fitness Class"), but there it is.

Most of my stories seem to me to be complete when I write them, the length varies, but usually getting them to proper Novelette length (17500 words or more) would be a struggle. They begin at the beginning, move through the scenes I've invented, and then they end, and that's how long they are.

Why is it so difficult to do simpple things with computers?

I hate to see friends fight. Especially over made up problems created to keep us distracted.

Americans largely agree on nearly all of the large important issues. Most of us want to be left alone. We want to be safe. We want to make a good living, have an opportunity to thrive, trust our neighbors. We want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and all that. In the end we have way more in common than not.

Jesus said, “Whoever is not with Me is against Me.” He also said, “Whoever is not against Us, is for Us.” This was echoed in the sixties as “If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.” I bought into this creed then -- and apply it now.

Over the last several months, I have cut ties with several long-term friends.

One of the most frustrating effects of what happened to me is that it destroyed my confidence in my ability to make decisions. I become paralyzed, and usually end up making the choice that requires the least change.

An example is happening right now as I am on the list to get stomach surgery, and the closer I get to the due date the less confident I'm making the right call.

you know, I've gotten used to having some degree of pain in my left leg, but I just had something worse than pain.

My leg felt like it was simply going to collapse, and I almost fell.

Last night, I awoke to find I had tossed my pillows everywhere and pulled my CPAP machine off the nightstand.

But It had kept running and I never lost the connection between the mask and the machine, so I was getting air while this was happening.

Don't ask me what's going on, I really have no clue.

As for the Intermission. I'm not sure when I'll release it. I may just wait a week because it's not that big. It's mostly ready though.

I've been praying that God would make me a girl and wishing that I was born a girl since I was 5.

I began to have PMS symptoms (migraines, cramping, bloating, and wild mood swings) when I was 12 for a few days every month. When I was 15, I started getting female curves, so I gained 150 pounds to hide them since I was beaten up on a regular basis for acting like a girl and I was afraid of getting beaten even worse, raped, and/or killed if I looked like a girl too.

I was reminded of one story where Alex/Alexa is thrown out of their home by their ultra-bigoted father. Totally concerned about her partner, Jenny makes the journey from hell to get back to her and give her the support she needs. I'm sure that tale exists as a chapter in a related story but I can't find it. Bright ideas, anyone?

So I was a bit foolish and watched an episode of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit", and as I should have expected, it was not a good idea.

I identified so hard with the victim, in her frustration and helplessness in the face of a rapist who seems beyond prosecution.

I often feel this, especially when real life cases follow the same path, and it is exactly the same helplessness I felt during the two and a half years I was being raped.

so today, I went and got x-rays on my knees, and the tech asked me if I still had my periods.

even after so long into my transition, I still appreciate moments of validation like this.

After yesterday's low point in my finances, I realized that I was dragging my feet on this one. So I published my third Center story onto Kindle. Again, I've changed things to fit my own universe.

I'm from the USA, and ran across a reference to Weetabix, so I looked it up. On Amazon, it is listed for sale and for some strange reason, it is certified allergen free of Abalone? So Last night I dreamed that I had a breakdown over the trans stuff back in high school.

It has me shaken, and I'm not sure why.

I think that my BB sequel depends on the reader not only having read the first, but also caring about the characters -- the clique in particular -- and wanting to know what happens to them, and hoping that they can get back together. But seven years after the story was originally posted, readers have forgotten the story, forgotten the characters, or at least don't care any more about them.

Big, heavy, depressed sigh.

After decades of abuse and neglect, my body is finally getting back at me by falling apart.

Its somehow ironic that it turns out the abuser who has done the most damage to me -- was me, all along.

sighs . . .

I'm taking three days off for a trip to the desert and the sequoias. I'll be back Tuesday. I'll have my phone but not my laptop. Piper and Cat will be watching the site. Love you all.

I hit upon this blog entry: Muse Wrestling from 4.5 years ago. My own problem is similar, although not identical. During my years here since my first posting ("A Bikini Beach Summer") I've begun many long stories, but I've only finished two even moderately long ones.

Yesterday my mom found a box in her closet that turned out to have a number of items from a very long time ago.

among the items was my father's sergeant's pins, and a couple of report cards of mine from when I was in junior high school.

The report cards showed that I was highly creative, struggling socially, and had the worst handwriting ever, so I guess not much has changed.
