There are plenty of reasons to avoid a writer or DNF a story but not being able to leave a comment seems a pretty thin one, books (real books) have always been so and no-one avoids them.

I have begun writing a series of solos where character(s) and / or location(s) from one or more other solos pop up from time to time in other stories.

Each is written in first person, is completely stand alone and can be read in any order.

I'll edit the story list below as I add new stories:

Have been re-reading Jan Morris’s wonderful memoir “Thinking Again”
She was an inspiration to many of us from that era when things were somewhat more challenging than they are nowadays.

She underwent surgery back in 1972 but before that as James Morris, she was a member of the 1953 British Mount Everest expedition, which made the first ascent of the mountain.

Thought it was only car keys that hid from me.

I want to post a solo but cannot find that option.

Sort of about writing, nails had grown so long that tapping one key at a time was becoming difficult to say the least. It was a rainy morning when I passed my favourite nail bar.

After so many good weeks together my unbroken (natural) nails finally faced file. Temptation was to snatch back hand and run for it. Is it just me that loves even unpractically long no matter how much grief they cause?

Long story short...can even type on phone now -Yea!!
