Rami posted a message to my story accusing me of trying to decieve the readers and I honestly did not. He said many more tags needed to be applied and I knew.

The state legislature of Vermont has voted to override the veto of their governor to a bill allowing same-sex couples to marry. The bill now becomes law. Vermont becomes the fourth state to legalize same-sex marrige, and the first to do it through legislative action.

I always liked Vermont. There's something honest about the place. With this new law, they renew their dedication to their state motto. "Freedom and Unity," indeed!

Really, really bad poetry for my really, really bad day

Maiden by Decree got a bit delayed because Phoebe (my muse) decided this new story was the one to play with. On Wings of Shadow is about dark fairies, transformations, and things like that. I will be alternating between this new one and Maiden, though. As the muse allows.

Okay, for a short while (hopefully less than a week) my internet woes are back. I shall endeavour to get things going as fast as possible. In the meantime, I will go ahead now and say that Violet Ajah 2 and 3 both will be posted by next Friday, with a possibility of more of that... and some other stuff (Sk8r Grrls, Dear Diary, Actress, Carlotti's Way, Sticks & Stones, Girlwind, and maybe a couple of other surprises).

Well who would have thought I'd still be churning out this stuff more than eighteen months later? I know I write the stuff, Bonzi has a problem hitting the keys on a laptop - but I have little control over the characters, they just do what they do and I watch and write it down. This goes to prove that I'm totally bonkers, I suppose, nothing new there then.

Don't worry! I shall endeavour to get it posted before I sleep tonight, despite the fact that I'm moving yet again today! If it's not up tonight, it'll be up by noon tomorrow (Central U.S. time)

I had hoped to have another installment of Sissy up tonight for you all, but since my editor and honey love is going into the hospital tomorrow for a cardiac cath, the story isn't fully edited.

Things up in the air for a bit... the next time I can guarantee a DD update after tonight is Tuesday.

There is too much going on at present for me to figure something fun for 1 April this year.

My Dermatology Doctor is interested in this family of tests in an effort to resolve a scalp condition I have developed that causes bloody lesions there. It is frustrating that she seems unfamiliar with the changes in Endocrinology that T folk experience.

All of the ones I put in the Shortcuts were meant to be up today. I'm going to try to get them up by the end of the weekend. I've been all distracted by the getting in of firewood and such, and then internet is making me not able to hit here except sporadically.

So... sorry. But I'm gonna keep trying.

Many of the long time readers will know of Wendy J and her epic story Midnight Downloads, but if you have started reading since the first President Bush took office, you may have never heard of her or seen the story. Wendy was upset over the election and withdrew her works from the sites she had posted them.

It's my good friend and editor's birthday on wednesday the 25th. I won't tell you how old she is, except according to the Bible, she's on borrowed time.

We all have dreams, at least I hope you do. Our dreams, not aspirations, probably reflect many of our desires, fears, hopes and events in the past and expected. I see it expressed in many of the stories concerning transformation that the persons dreams are permeated with the individual being in the physical form they have desired. They dream about finding their ideal partner, and other fantasy filled scenarios relating to their transgendered state.

I don't know what the Cable TV channel lineups are from state to state, but if you have LOGO TV, 139 for me, it may be interesting for you. It seems to be a GBLT channel. I am watching a program right now that features a dozen or so 20 somethings who are going to live together as they are trained to be performers. One of them is a rather pretty transwoman. It is coed housing. I am wishing the transgirl was a little more confident. Really, that is the only tip off that she is trans. It is like looking in the mirror for me. Hope this works for you.

Stereotypes, we've all heard and seen them mew, and every single time all they do is offer a ridiculousness and place us in a box that we don't really need mew. For instance, the umbrella term transgender has more than just one category. Transgender by definition covers transvestite, crossdresser, bi gender, meta gender, androgynous, neuter gender, gender queer, gender #%$%, transsexual, and anyone who identifies outside of the binary gender system that identifies as transgender.

This is currently being run on AOL and elsewhere. We went through this controversy decades ago and it was resolved. Poor Sarah Gronert, she wants to play tennis and is reasonably good and a few bigots want to steal that from her. I have not seen any mention of what her chromosomal makeup is. I'll research later.

Dimelza Cassidy asked me to delete her stories and blogs, which I did. She told me why and it rang true. . .but I won't repeat what she said because she didn't ask me to provide an explanation.

First off, I'd like to say that I know nothing about the politics of Northern Ireland. And, I will freely admit to being very ignorant about the early history of the area.

I have just received the legal paperwork, which I must fill out and file, that will begin the process of legally changing my name!!

I am on disability due to my weight. Through Medicare, I have 20 rides per year. Well, I was told that after the twenty were used up that I would get twenty more that year by the sales rep. that convinced me to go with the medicare provider he was with.
Turns out that I only get twenty per year and medicaid in my state takes over a month to get you the vouchers to pay for the rides.
Tried to tell my brother, but he says that I should have been ready. How can I when I was lied to?

It is the 16th and I have been unable to pay my bills due to the non arrival of my fabled, much promised retirement check. I am working very hard to suspend my disbelief that it will ever happen. I have three letters that promised that I would have it by the 11th. Well we all know about this sort of thing.

So, if I disappear off line and off SKYPE it is not because I have done anything asinine like suicide.

I have learned a lot by writing A Little Fox Tale. I had never written fiction before (unless you counted the enlisted evaluations I had to write in the military), and was unsure of the pacing and style. Also, I knew nothing about dialog. Getting my hands on and reading a copy of Inspiration for Writers by Sandy Tritt, and a copy of Mugging the Muse by Holly Lisle helped a lot.
