It's my good friend and editor's birthday on wednesday the 25th. I won't tell you how old she is, except according to the Bible, she's on borrowed time.
Anyway, I'm going to visit her tomorrow, assuming she'll speak to me after I post this - I do have a card and a prezzie to take, so I should be all right.

Thank you for the blog; this the first time my birthday has been blogged. Thank you also for your visit and lunch, both of which made it a memorable day. The only thing to spoil it has been my bl**dy arthritis.
