A suitor and a trip to the doctor's office keep Stevie on edge. Once again, I am
a wordy writer, so only read if words are something you enjoy. Also, if you complain
that you don't understand a character's motivation while also admitting you skipped
parts of the story, then... never mind.
I hope you're all remaining well. These are such stressful times. God bless.
I am so, so, so happy that Hunter touched so many hearts. Thank you all for reading
and for so many comments and emails. I really enjoyed these characters and I'm so
happy that you did, too. Please stay well! See you all next time!
A big couple of days for Hunter. A big dance, a big game and a big talk with his dad.
It's a lot for a little kid whose already going through a lot. Thank you, thank you,
thank you for all your comments and support. Honestly, I was afraid that this story
may not connect with a lot of people. Hunter is a much younger protagonist than I
ever created before. I'm so happy that he has captured your hearts the same way
that he captured mine.
Phoebe Hart is a young Australian documentary filmmaker. She has made a documentary about her very personal story, being born intersex, her family's secrecy surrounding her condition and how she found out about it as a teenager. She talks about the implications it has had on her life and relationships. Her documentary: Orchids - My Intersex Adventure not only tells her story, but features other people living with intersex conditions. (31”²50”³)
Young Jorgelina feels estranged from her boy-crazy older sister, who has entered adolescence and doesn't want to hand around with little kids anymore. Finding refuge in their Boyita camper-van, Jorgelina travels with her father to the countryside, where her lifelong playmate Mario is undergoing some unexpected changes of his own.
I found this to be an interesting essay. The comments below it are almost as interesting. The article reveals the sometimes contentious views about the term transgender, in all its ramifications, and how it's use as an umbrella term may trample on self identities.
(sounds like she has Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS).)
Caster Semenya is a woman --- and a man.
SYDNEY (AP) - World 800-meter champion Caster Semenya of South Africa has male and female sexual organs, the Sydney Morning Herald said on Friday, posing an ethical and political quandary for athletics' ruling body.
Semenya's reported condition could have grave medical implications.
The Herald said extensive physical examinations of 18-year-old Semenya ordered by the IAAF have shown she is technically a hermaphrodite.
I'm sorry, but I'm a bit of a twit today, and I'm becoming increasingly agitated with " I have an idea for a story". Your ideas sound like fun, by why not write the story yourself? All I can see is someone too lazy to write the damn thing themselves. I know some are thinking, "What a prick, how dare you say that? I thought of the story line, so you write it." It doesn't work that way. I started writing because I wanted more stories that I wanted to read, and so I wrote. Yes, it's hard work, and yes people are going to say things you don't like, but so what?
I am Professor Olivia Stacie Turner; my friend call me Post. I am a Psychoanalyst from the far future. I have been sent back in time to gather data upon certain people whose lives due to unforeseen circumstances have caused ripples far beyond the normal scope of influence.
Proud of his accomplishment so far, the pilot turned to speak to the passengers when he saw something through a window. He screamed, “Let’s get the door open and run like the blazes!”
