Longtime no see everyone! I wanted to let everyone know that after waaaaay too long of a time I've completed my draft and first edit for Suddenly Royal 2: Royal Performer!
Life and writers block had interfered with finishing it until now, but it'll be coming soon! I'm hoping to publish the complete book on Amazon later next month, and I'll post a chapter a week on here as well.
I just had someone ask me about any upcoming books, so I thought I would share the news with you all!
I've been asked by a number of readers when I'm going to publish my books to Amazon. I've had reasons for holding out, but decided to go ahead and do it this weekend. I'm not publishing to the Kindle Unlimited format simply because it would mean pulling down all of my works from free sites like this one - something I don't have a desire to do.
Please keep Carla Ann, my editor and closest friend in your prayers. I have been swamped with real life this week and was getting worried I hadn't heard from her... Yesterday she texted me and told me she had a stroke about a week ago not long after she must have just written me. She's an amazing friend and I hope she bounces back quickly from this!
In case anyone is wondering where today's post of Dollar Runaways is... well it'll be posted tomorrow. I posted in one of the stories that I was dealing with some real life stuff, and today was basically one of the most major things to deal with. I'm okay, but an unexpected promotion and the fallout leading to that promotion have made life a little crazy! Not to mention just a little stressful! I got home late enough tonight that I'll have to format and post the next chapters tomorrow. Hopefully life will smooth out now for the foreseeable future!
I'll have the post up tomorrow evening, thanks!

The Getty Museum has begun scanning and placing their collection of artwork that is Public Domain online. That means there are a lot of neat pieces of art that may be used free without seeking permission from them to use it. They ask that you credit them for scanning it in your notes. I know a lot of individuals look for artwork for their stories here, so I thought I would share. You would definitely need to resize the images from their current size to use though (easy with Gimp or Photoshop). Anyway, here's the link to their press release, and a link to the gallery!
It's been fun to post my latest work up on this site over the past summer. I hope that most of my readers have enjoyed Bears Know Best. If you missed it, the 28th and Final part is now posted. Thank you to everyone who has purchased it, read it, and commented on it over the last couple months!
I also enjoyed another milestone today too. Just a few minutes ago my first book, Standing Up to Life's title page hit 10,000 hits!
Is anyone else having issues connecting to Lulu.com's website? I've not been able to connect to their site since Thursday evening... I can see their support page, but can't log in to leave any messages there either. If someone could let me know if it's just my problem or something others are having issues with I would appreciate it! I've tried another computer and emptying my cache, so I doubt it's just me... but checking. Thanks!

First Post Up and Available at Lulu.com

I am excited to have posted the first part of 'Bears Know Best' here on BC! It is now also available on Lulu.com for those who would prefer to read straight through rather than read a couple chapters week! I hope you all enjoy!
I'm pleased to announce that I will begin posting my new novel, 'Bears Know Best' tomorrow evening here on BC. I will be releasing it here as a serial work, or you may purchase the full edition on Lulu.com beginning tomorrow as well. This book is a standalone work outside of my Standing Up to Life Series. I hope you will all enjoy it!

Standing Up to Life: Book 3
Final Part Posted
I have posted the final part of Book 3: Dreaming of Cheers today. Thanks to all of you who have followed the series, I hope that you enjoy this last installment!
Over the last few weeks I’ve had a number of readers have questions and propose possible solutions for Tiffany’s continuing day-to-day struggle at Holden Junior High. As a result I bring you, ‘Concerning Coyotes’, an in-depth look at Holden Junior High and its many issues.
If you’ve enjoyed the series thus far this may in fact be a great read to fill in gaps of information that haven’t been covered specifically in the books so far. It will also be a more distanced view of the setting of the series.

Posting Schedule
I have posted the second part of my new book today. My plan is to post on Tuesdays and Fridays.
For those of you reading it, is the size of todays post okay? Would you prefer a two chapter post like Friday's? I'm playing around a bit with post size. I'm also considering posting one chapter on Tuesdays and two chapters on Fridays... (It's forty chapters total) What do you all think? I'm listening :-).
Over the course of the last few months I've had a lot of readers contact me and ask when I would be posting my third book. I've had to tell them at every turn that I think it's going to be late summer this year. Unfortunately late summer kept becoming later and later as I've had a particularly rough and stressful last year. It got to the point that I could barely write much of the time, so I kept running into setbacks and major writers block.
During the summer, and particularly the last twenty days or so I have finally managed to get the motivation, the muse, and the time to work on the book. As such I would like to let every know I just finished the rough draft about forty minutes ago!
I just posted the final part of my book, Daring to Hope. It is the sequel to Standing Up to Life, and the second of the three book trilogy. I hope you all have enjoyed the book as I have posted it this week, and I look forward to your thoughts on the third book this summer! :-) Thank you all for the comments, I really do appreciate them!

I posted the final part for my novel Standing Up to Life a little bit ago, I hope you all have enjoyed reading it! I'll be posting the sequel to this novel up here in the next couple weeks once I finish working on some last proofreading bits and get it through Lulu.com's publishing process. Thanks for reading!

I just posted Part 5 of my novel, Standing Up to Life. I will be posting the final part, Part 6, tomorrow night sometime. Just thought I'd put the word out there in case it gets buried in a flood of entries tonight :-). Thanks for reading!
