An Ordinary Girl-RePost After Adjustments, Thanks To Readers
Blog

By Stanman63

Here is the story as a blog.

[-][+][-]

My name is Brett Lynn Micheals, I have transitioned from a boy into a girl, thanks to my parents footing the bill for my surgery and protecting me from harm. If not for them, I'd be another of those weird statistics in the morgue either from murder or suicide.

You see, early on, I had to camouflage myself in order to avoid all of those narrow minded bigots who think that they either know what God would do, and use their learning to justify their ideas, as well as the gangs out looking to bash those that they see as different.

[-][+][-]

I found out that I was a girl born in a boy's body when Momma let me dress as Robin Hood on my fifth Halloween. I wore a green tunic and matching tights with matching sneakers. Many people thought that I was Maid Marion, instead.

Being treated as a girl made me wonder what being a girl was like, so, I asked Mother who told me. After that, I knew that I was truly a girl in a boys body.

[-][+][-]

When I told my parents about my decision, they told me that there was more to learn about. The girls like me ranged from those who were boys who like to dress as girls all the way to those whose body did not agree with their minds as well as those who want to marry other girls

WOW! I never thought that there would be such a variety! It was like a smorgasbord of genders were out there. That only convinced me that God loved variety.

They also told me about how some had varying degrees of trouble in their lives that broke or killed some while others dealt with the hurt in their lives.

I felt angry for what those girls went through because of those who could not or would not understand and vowed to become a therapist and help them like my parents do.

What really made me wonder was that my parents told me about some who are to some degree a bit of both genders. There are many differences in these who are a bit of both who are grouped under the term 'intersexed' by many, but in truth, does not truly do anything but blind people to certain conditions in others.

[-][+][-]

From Wood Lake Elementary School all the way to Wood Lake High School, I wore the girl's uniform and passed as a girl, thanks to an orchiectomy done thanks my parents calling in a favor from Unca Joe. Now, all that I have is a penis kept under a gaffe so that I could pass as a girl.

Unca Joe is Dad's brother. He is a surgeon who does the surgery that lets a boy become a girl, too bad he can't make them into Momma, though. The 'official' reason for my orchiectomy was that I got hit with an arrow to avoid any complications. At the same time, I was injected with something that caused me to generate estrogen, naturally.

But even so, I knew that I could NEVER experience menses, vaginal sex, or childbirth. Oh how I want to be like them! But because of an accident in Mother's womb, I was born in with a plumbing problem.

There are many names and labels foisted upon us by the ignorant and narrow minded bigots, but we know who we are and only ask to be accepted. Why can they not accept us? Well, anyway, we are a family made up of many sisters who accept each other.

[-][+][-]

I had to listen to Mother to know what menses was like and about when I'd go through it IF I was a girl in body. My biggest worry was that when I said that I went through my menses, the girls would want to explore.

Luckily, my parents took me to a surgeon who had me to sit in that strange chair made for the examination of women and TUCKED what I had up inside of me to give me a realistic vagina. BUT for a of its authenticity, I still could not participate in vaginal sex as I had no depth.

No, it was not until my surgery that I could truly be like most women, except that I could not give birth to my very own children. Oh, I could actually carry a child IF the fetus was implanted, but it would be by C-section, NOT by vaginal delivery. And I MIGHT be able to breastfeed.

Having no testosterone in my system, I went through a girl's puberty. And thanks to being on blockers, my body produced it's very own estrogen, so that I have a girl's body.

I can also detect OTHER girls like me as well as crossdressers by seeing the subtle telltale signs that most are blind to. As a therapist, I do what I can to help them, often working with others who are dedicated to helping out.

Alvin Leonard Micheals and I grew up together, and he saw through my disguise. But instead of outing me, he helped me to keep my secret and is my only lover. We were surprised to learn that I actually have a vaginal canal, meaning no need to dilate, but unfortunately, I can't give birth. Oh well, the just means more cuddling.

It has been noted that I never did say what my idea of justice is through the whole thing. No, I didn't and I won't do that here. I don't do politics, since in my experience, discussions like that tend to result in lots of arguments and bad feelings. Everyone has their own sense of justice, and nothing anyone else says is going to change that, right?

Well, I just got back from riding in the Pride parade. My local TS group made an entry, and I got to ride in the truck and blow bubbles at people. Two things about this experience come to the front of my mind: First, being IN the parade means you dont actually see it, and second, I found it odd to have people waving and smiling at me, and taking my picture. Normally, I'm pretty shy, so it was a different experience for me. Was fun, though.

You are in charge of your attitude. That's a fact. It isn't just a bumper-sticker.

Life is about change. Good stories are about change. Life is about redemption. Good stories are about redemption.

When your stories lead to oblivion you've violated the contract you have with your reader. Readers are looking for that Hollywood ending where good prevails and bad is punished. It happens. Really -- it happens.

Progress!!!

In the last twenty-four hours I have managed two pages of "Princess For Hire" and three pages of "Switcheroo," giving me a total of... three pages of "Princess for Hire" and three pages of "Switcheroo" ready for the next postings! Almost there!

Seriously, though. I'll try to have the next part of each story out by the middle of next week. In the words of the great Ellen Hayes, I am finally entering a period of not-suck that means my writing is progressing again.

Who'da thunk rereading your own stuff would help?

Anyhow, I'm off to write!

Quite interesting to say the least.

It was with a sense of sadness and rage that I read some news about children being mistreated in Care Homes in the UK. I have several friends there who have had horrific experiences in places like that, and I realised that the news of these further atrocities was likely to dredge up feeling from the past that will make them feel quite broken and sad. I am so sorry for your having to relive the past and wish that I could some how make things better for you all, but then I am not God am I?

Changes part 3

Hi

Part 3 is now available and I apologise in advance for the blue background. It seems there is a gremlin in Lulu's conversion programme - I am trying to sort the problem but it seems rather hit and miss.

Fred Martinez was one of the youngest hate-crime victims in modern history when he was brutally murdered at 16. Two Spirits explores the life and death of a boy who was also a girl, and the essentially spiritual nature of gender.

I was slightly shocked at the close resemblance to the name of this establishment to the one I invented for "Sweat and Tears"

Well, the other day, I was reading my bible at work during my lunch break. One of the other workers noticed, and started talking to me about faith. At the end of the conversation, she invited me to join a LADIES bible study group. Sadly, its not a place I can get to, but the offer was nice.

Trying again

After losing everything from the computer in the move, I started to rebuild my address and contact file then the nine year old tower gave up the ghost taking everything with it. If anyone wants a laugh they should have been at the store when I told the guy that a few years ago I had my RAM increased to 800 and wanted at least that much on the new one. When he stopped choking with laughter he told me that two gigs was considered a minimum today. So now I'm learning this Windows 7 and a machine that seems to anticipate what I want to do before I do it.

Egyptian Military performing "virginity tests" on females

Egyptian military performs 'virginity tests'

According to a report by an international activist group, the Egyptian military is accused of performing "virginity tests" on detained female protesters. The 2011 Egyptian revolution, which forced former president Hosni Mubarak out of power, has resulted in the military controlling the country until elections later this year. Like most military minds, excess is excused as military necessity. The more conservative the basis of the culture, the worse the excesses.

About "Unintended Consequences"

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Author:

Just wanted to give a brief explanation for my last story, "Unintended Consequences". After I had read "A new game plan", I left my comment, expressing my opinion, and figured that would be the end of that. Unfortunately, my muse had other ideas. I went out with my daughter, and while watching her play in our neighborhood park the basic idea of this story dropped in. By the time I got back in, I was on fire, and the story took less than twenty minuses to write.

That this is his first time in 4" heels, that is. I spotted this in today's Guardian I read over breakfast. Looks quite convincing in the photo and it would be interesting to learn more about the circumstances. The court hearing seems to be over a relatively trivial matter though it could be a serious breach of safety legislation as he's a gas fitter ... and gas goes bang.

PS I'm surprised I beat Angharad to this. She's usually quick off the mark on Guardian references :)

About 2 months ago, I opened up to a woman at work about myself. She's great. She recently left the call center where we work together and in the last couple days a coworker of mine has said that she told him about my secrets but she did swear him to secrecy. He has not outed me as of yet but he is lording it over me. I told him to go ahead and tell people since no one will believe a big mouth like him anyways. He has also jokingly implied blackmail. I have spoken to a supervisor with out naming names.

Well, I have discovered I am getting an honest-to-God side effect from my T-Blockers. Mainly, I am almost continually thirsty. I've been taking a 1 liter bottle of water to work with me, and a can of pop, and usually polish off both over the course of a night. At home, I'm drinking a glass of milk, a glass of orange juice, a glass of apple juice, a TON of water, and occasionally, a pop. Darn if I can figure out where all this fluid is going, I'm not peeing THAT often.....

Barcelona!!

Taxonomy upgrade extras:

Well, for those that don't generally follow sports, especially as practiced in the old world, there is great news! Manchester United fell to FC Barcelona in the UEFA Championship by a resounding 3-1. Barcelona owned the game, played in Wembley Stadium, from start to finish despite the antics of United's Wayne Rooney. Somebody ought to inform him he shouldn't start the celebrations until AFTER the game is over!

But as entertaining as his antics might have been to some, his goal was the only time MU scored as FC Barcelona outscored, outclassed, and out-played United.

Editing For Others
Blog

By Stanman63

I have been honored to have the privilege of helping fellow authors by editing their stories. What I generally do is to correct grammar as I try to keep the author's original idea. At times, it takes a reworking of a scene to make it work and at times, I 'flub the dub' and send back a less than stellar product. When that happens, blame me.

Tomorrow we're off to France for just over a week to take possession of our new house.

Well, that's what we hope is going to happen. We'll have to see when we get there.

The house is ours - well all bar the shouting, but the shouting isn't over. At least it wasn't yesterday. The certificate d'urbanism, which basically means we don't get taxed for owning a commercial property wasn't changed as it was supposed to have been, so we're not 100% sure about what we're walking into.

That phrase, or variations on it, have been used to justify transitioning. I find myself kinda conflicted about it. On the one hand, at least for me, of course I was "not much of a man" - because, I wasnt one at all. On the other, it almost sounds like "well, you may have failed at being a man, but you can pass at being a woman, since that's easier". What do you guys think?

I just wanted to apologize for the delay in part 3 of "Between one step and the next". I felt like I had written myself into a corner, and was about to despair, but I think I see a way out now. Unfortunately, with real life being what it is at the moment, my writing time is seriously curtailed, so it will take a bit. It will come when it does, so thank you for your patience. and again, my apologies.

Cats and Paint

Little Silky, the model for Randi Lewis Deere's familiar, managed to get latex house paint on her paws. I think she may have cleaned her brother off, too. He brushed against a freshly painted door. He avoided a barrier and brushed by the door. Of course she washed it off - not using the tap at the sink. I first noticed she was drooling a whole lot - drip, drip, drip. She's a bit unhappy with the painters tresspassing as it is, and knows of 20 more hiding places than we do. She's vomited several times, and is drinking a lot of water on her own.

Home from the hospital, at least for a while! The surgeon removed a large calloused area on the bottom of my foot (like I have that much to spare!). I have to go in for surgery in two weeks ro "stretch the Achilles tendon" which the surgeon says will be quite painful! I'm sooooo lucky!
If you didn't notice, chapter 2 of my story is up, as promised. I hope y'all like it! If not, be nice and tell me why! If you do like it, be nice and tell me why! I want to be a better writer, suggestions are welcome! (Hey y'all, over there! We'll have none of that kind of talk, thar's LADIES present!)
