Due to the number of inquiries I've been getting as of late...

A number of people have been asking about writing characters that have already been chosen. Sadly, I have to tell them that those particular ones are unavailable at this time, because other people have chosen them.

There are a number of authors/potential authors that have chosen characters and after a number of months, and in some cases over a year, have posted nothing.

I'm doing a story that includes an upper class character in Wiltshire. I've searched and searched for a decent website that can show me how a person speaks from this region of England. The closest I can find is heavy slang and street-talk which my character wouldn't use.

I'd rather not use the cliche "upper-crust-snobby" speak... unless that's the way they really talk. I can't imagine that being the case.

Anyone out there know of a site or is from the area that might be able to lend a hand?

Some of you have been keeping track on my blog and offering good will wishes for someone that is special to me regarding a diagnosis that was given a few weeks back.

In short: I took her to the ER for severe abdominal pains a few weeks back. An ER doc and a Oncology doc told her she had ovarian cancer and she'd be dead very soon. Nice huh? All of this without a biopsy just a CAT scan. I twigged the next day that it wasn't possible to declare it cancer without that.

I've been contacted by a number of people regarding The Center, and whether or not the two recent stories are authorized and whether or not they can write a story as well. Yes, they are, and yes you can. In Chapter Nine (Comments) I made it an open universe to anyone that wants to write in it. There's no need to ask permission. Though if you want questions answered or more inside information about some of the characters, that didn't get revealed too much, for your own story, then PM me.

If you do write one, just credit me for the characters and universe. That's all I ask.

Why did I publish "The Calm of My Stream" when I said I was going to wait until the next chapter of The Center comes out?

I just got a really good opportunity to take part in an anthology that's going to be published by an actual publishing company that you don't have to pay. It's not the big time, but I have an opportunity to get my foot in the door of mainstream fiction, that you can actually buy online or in your local bookstore.

So, I'm concentrating on that this week. No Center this week unless I run into a major block on the paid-for writing.

With last night's outage, a lot of people were not able to read Chapter 4, so I'm not updating with Chapter 5 today. Instead, I will have it out Monday morning, so people will have a chance to catch up. Not to worry, it's already written. Chapters 5&6 are in the can and I'm working on 7 today so it should be ready by the the time Wednesday roles around. Then we'll be caught up.

I'm not telling you all this to be pretentious. I just didn't want you to think that I'd forgotten about you, today.

Okay, I've done the google thing but didn't really find what I was looking for. A character of mine is going to die. I need a really top notch embarrassing way for it to happen.

Hello all! Over at my blog at TGLibrary.com I am trying to work out a different way for a male to "work through" being changed into a female. I could go through all the cliched "OMG I'm A GIRL!!!" things that have been done to death.

Just in case you think some lady that owns a salon won't do the revenge thing in real life I submit this article. This story *so* should have been TG instead of pr0n'ed.
