Mom, Bill and Charles, and Kaley were all in my room from about 4:00 PM until just a few minutes ago. I kept saying I was going to be late and they all know it is a major pet-peeve of mine! Taylor stood in front of the full-length mirror evaluating herself.

It was ironic how she used any flat reflective surface just to audit her look. Recently, she’d become much more aware of how her presence affected her world. A smile towards a stranger on the street elicited a returned look of warmth and approval.

Tom made a stupid bet with a one time friend who turned bad. He could not lose, but he did. Now he is facing a transition to female in order to save his wife and his life. “Ok, Tracy, the first item is your hair. It’s beautiful, but it’s just hanging there. Let me trim the dead ends then you can take a shower and wash your hair to make sure all the cuttings are gone. After you take off your clothes, set them outside the bathroom door so I can put them in the wash.”

In my dreams I’m a boy. Just a boy like any other. I want to be a girl, I want it so badly.
