I've written a _very_ short story - 392 words - for the Horror contest.

You see, I decided to look at the audience, and try to build upon true horror, rather than using traditional elements. Unfortunately, the story might be a bit 'over the top' for a lot of the people here. (it's also written more in the older Ray Bradbury/Golden Age SF style, although it's not SF)

Well, on Oct 12, I came into my workplace in full femme. Essentially, I've started my real life test, even though I have no intention of getting SRS.

This actual process was this:

I told my immediate supervisor about my TG status on teh first day. I told him that he could share it with those who HAD to know, HR, his manger, the team lead that I was with, but that if he didn't pass it around it would be good.
At the same time, I started wearing more makeup, wearing girl's jeans and sometimes tops, sports bras which couldn't hide the budding breasts.

I can't remember the title, or the writer but it was set in England and had a guy who at first thought he wanted to be a woman, then near the end he just liked dressing up, also had a part where other guys were trying to out him or get pictures of him on the news and he managed to get them caught by the news people. and he was a teenager I think. I'd go through the teen/high school listing, but that list is huge

what the heck was that story?

Well, I wanted to mention the generous people who seem to come my way. At the TS group meeting, I got a new wig, a new purse, and a book on clothes and makeup tips for trans people. Then my neighbor gave me two seasons of "The L - Word" to watch. That, plus how amazing my co-workers have been about this whole thing really is a fantastic gift in its own right, and that's not even counting all the support I get here as well. I am so blessed, and so grateful.

So what do you want to hear first? The Good Stuff? The Not So Good Stuff? The Next Big Step?

Well, either my ex didn't notice my wig, or she chose to not mention it when I picked her up last night. Part of me is breathing a sigh of relief, the other part of me realizes all this means that the confrontation is still to come ...

I think some small part of me is still resisting the changes I'm beginning to make. I think I'm, in some small corner of my mind, still afraid. Afraid of what I don't know about being female. Afraid of how people who don't or can't understand will treat me. Afraid of change. Someone replied to Heather's entry about losing her pet that it's a bit of a "system shock", after 16 years, suddenly losing a dear friend and companion, her dog. I kind of think that's what's happening to me now.

Well here goes round 3 in the operating room in 4 1/2 months the left foot the same 1 as was worked on in June is going to be broken and fixed again. 4 more weeks wearing a compression boot up to my knee and pins in my toes. I am getting so I feel addicted to anesthesia so Thursday morning before the sun comes up and I will be back to sleep and home by 11 AM

Well, I just ran some numbers. The Gospel of The Bike, according to word, (if you trust it), totals out to....5,850 pages............2,059,091 words, anf the folder that holds the assembled books weighs in at......22.3 meg. Sounds awesome to me.

Well, I may have set myself up for disaster a lot sooner than I planned. I was driving home this morning, and I had some bottles belonging to my ex in my car, so I figured I would drop them off on my way. So I hit the corner near her house, and she's there, watching my daughter walk to school, so I told her about dropping off the bottles. Why does this mean bad things? Because I was still wearing my wig from work when she saw me. Right now, my only hope is that it didn't register with her, or WW III will start ahead of schedule ...

I'll wait for PS to do the official statistics, but just doing a quick count using the cat's toes, and counting back the last six or seven episodes, Bike has reached well over 2 Million words.

My mother always told me I would use half a dozen words where one would do, perhaps she had a point.

In keeping with the title of the story, I demonstrated the ease with which I manage to fall off bikes yesterday, thankfully no serious damage was done to the bike. Oh me, just a few scratches - bike riders is tough (unfortunately not as tough as the average road!).

Keep in mind that some of the data is more than 30 years old; however, it's still interesting to read.

I ended up there when I was trying to find out some of the effects of prepubescent castration in humans - basically, whether or not it would be the same as total androgen insensitivity. (apparently not, at least, not without providing estrogen therapy to trigger puberty)

Perphaps it's not so big a step, but it feels like one to me...

Had dinner with just my mom and I last night at a Japanese restaurant in town.

The restaurant was excellent. It was my first time there, though my younger brother had been there and told me it was very authentic.

What he hadn't told me was that it was also very traditional! The cooks even come to your table and do the whole show thing if you order Habachi! We didn't, but we observed this taking place with customers who did.

Looks like StarDust and Crystal Hall is currently down. All I get is a problem loading page error. Oh well!

I was thinking tonight of a short story I read once, about a post op young woman, dressing as masculine as she can, wearing a cap to sit and watch a game with her Dad, to give him one last gift from his "son."

It was a sentimental story, but I can't for the life of me remember the title, and I would like to read it again.

Well, I'd like to take a second and talk about my latest piece, "There was a point". I had a horrible nightmare in which I replayed a portion of my abuse, except in the nightmare I played both parts - the abuser and the abused. After I woke shaking and crying, I was left with the story, which took about 5 minutes to write. Just goes to show something beautiful can come out of pain, yes?

My author name and account name have been changed to Abigail Drew, all three chapters of Open Your Heart, along with my organizer pages, have been changed as well.

Author page has been the most thoroughly edited of them all.

If only real life were that easy,

Don't worry though, I do not plan to give up on it or stop writing it! I merely need to work out my own life before I can help Pattengale with their life.

Even when I was trying to be one, I never really did understand the "other guys". Is it really so important that yours is bigger, or better, or stronger, or whatever? I'm competitive, sure, but mostly against myself. I don't really care if I keep losing to a more skilled FPS player - if I can manage to snipe him even 1 more time than before, I feel good about it. If I can manage to stay alive even 1 second longer than last round, that's great success. If I fail, I laugh it off.

I'm writing another story and I'm thinking about a f2m punishment transformation. The reverse has been done way too often, and I want to give my characters something to think and maybe to regret.
Many evil guys tend to be transformed into whores, but what are the worst imaginable jobs for males? With what a life would you punish an evil female after she has been transformed into a guy?

So I talked to the other fish yesterday. Remember, my sister just older than I and myself were called Fish in high school? Because of the massive amounts of water we'd both drink.

Anyways, I'm not sure why I did it, in retrospect I probably should have waited until after the family meeting and just hoped if things went south no one beat me to it.

I want to meet a nice feminine t-woman, but don't like many of the people I see at the clubs and bars. Every site I look for on the net is a sex site. I don't know where to find a straightforward dating spot. MY GOD, I JUST WANT TO GO ON A DATE!!!

The article was about a "trend-in-the-making" of finding recipes from old to ancient sources to spice up menus. The article does state "One recipe he won't bother to explore: Stuffed Dormouse."

Well, yesterday while I had the day off, I went back over my blog here, and its hard to believe how much has changed for me from the beginning. Then, I was still struggling with accepting myself as a woman inside, still hoping somehow I could be the male person everyone wanted me to be. And even as I started to accept myself internally, I struggled with feeling like there was nothing I could do - no way I could pass dressed as a woman, much less begin a transition, and yet here I am, on my way, able to go out unafraid, accepted at work, and even started hormones.

Hi everyone! I have a new story up at StarDust. As usual, I'll leave it there for about a week before bringing it to BCTS. It's named 'No Man's Hand.'

Have all you high fantasy fans out there ever wondered about other explanations when it was you read that the Witch-king, demon or whatever the baddie is would not fall "by the hand of man?" I have.

I am revising a part of Through the years: Tracy emerging part 15.

The more I read it, the more I realized I added stuff and meant to add a bit more before I sent it off to be edited, but I totally forgot to add it. It's in the part at Brooke's house. I make several comments to Tracy looking over, but forgot to finish what I had planned for that.

So I shall edit it to make it whole, plus change a bit in another post of reflect the change. And also, the rating is going up too

The big thing holding me up in terms of several other stories is near the end of the first draft. I have three chapters left, maybe more, but the end is right there. I can finish that fairly soon and that will be great. Then I can write other stuff as I edit that, which will let me feel like I am back to writing again. Whee!

I had a bit of a funny moment at work yesterday. I was walking down the main aisle, and I could hear someone bringing a pallet behind me. I glanced behind, and saw one of my co-workers, and for some reason I thought, "Is he looking at my butt?" I had to restrain myself from adding a little extra wiggle to my walk, and I don't know why I felt like that.

I do check regularly, and yesterday night and this morning noticed that the Storysite that Crystal seems to have abandonned has developed new malfunctions - you can get the home page byt if you click on Stories, nothing happens, it just goes blank. Same for Poetry Corner. So unless she notices and repairs it, I guess that is it. A sad loss, which many of us regret.

It appears that Governor Jerry Brown of California signed to bills into law yesterday which should be of interest to readers here.

Today was an eventful day. Chose my new name this morning - Abigail Drew - shared it with my older brother at work, and towards the end of the day I finally got up the nerve to do something real major: Talk to my bishop. By the end of my meeting with him, I'd worked up the nerve to do something even more major: Set a date for telling the family.
