Gay penguins to undergo reparative therapy (good thing they weren't at the Tehran Zoo!):

Buddy and Pedro, a married pair of male African penguins at the Toronto zoo are being seperated
and paired with female penguins. Apparently this wasn't done for religious or moralistic reasons but
because the population of this species is in perilous decline. Let's hope they can rise to the occasion.
The ABC News article [CLICK LINK, ABOVE] ends on a civil-liberties affirming note:
But when the breeding season is over, all the birds will eventually return to the
same enclosure, and zookeeper Mason said, “if Buddy and Pedro want to be together …
they will be back together."
I hope they'll keep us updated on the adventures of these two lovebirds.
It'd make a heck of a PIXAR-type animated movie, dont'cha think?

Toronto made penguins gay
From the way I read the article it seemed the two guys met each-other in "The Center of the Known Universe" (as Torontonians like to refer to 'their' city) So that means Toronto turned those poor guys gay. That says much about Torontonians in general. It also says something about the red-neckiness of those zoo-keeper-thingies, that they have no compassion for two loving penguins in a commited relationship.
Maybe our same-sexish penguins are also more artisticly inclined now? Did they recently start to lisp? Are the last joints on their wings 'limp'? As for getting them to mate with the girls, maybe they could paint moustaches on the girls to fool the poofy guys?
Just a few thoughts.

P.S. If gay or bi penguins are too much for some, what about those mass frog orgies every spring up here in Wisconsin? Frog reproduction makes a party at The Mansion with Mr Hefner look tame. And I SAW it in a National Wildlife Refuge with my mother.... Oh the embarrassment! But it WAS The Horicon National Wildlife Refuge after all.
