Taking a break, sort of...

New video games, so the more writing intensive stories like The Season of Change and Blood, Dust, and Silver are being put on the back burner for a while.

I'll still be working on them, but probably not going to get much done. Might get a new BD&S by friday, as I'm already halfway done with the new chapter.

Luckilly I've had the Minion Eighteen story brewing for a while, so I can probably knock those out pretty quickly.

The Lanyon Chronicles/Daughter to demons

If you liked daughter to demons you should give this series a chance, actually you should give it a chance anyway. Like the saying goes don't judge something by its title.

What I'm doing...and request for assistance...

Firstly, just to let everyone know what I'm up to.

Something that really annoys me (and I know it will annoy many of you) is to be reading an enjoyable story that is never finished.

I plead guilty to doing just that... too often for my own liking, so I apologise to all who desperately want me to finish several of my stories.

I make no excuses, as I just get carried away with too many new ideas.

I am making this Blog post for two reasons, one; to keep you updated and so you will know why I'm not posting any new material for a while,

Another brain fade...lost again

I have done it again, and humbly seek your aid. I have a story saved off, entitled Beyond The Sky, I have parts 1-3. According to word, I assembled it into a word doc on 3-28-12, but it will be a bit older than that. I finally read it last night and went looking to see if any more had been posted. I can't find it anywhere. It is by D A Trask. I have searched BCTS, FM, Stardust, TGFiction.Net, Whateley, in case I forgot to label it thusly, Sapphire's, Crystals, TG Storytime, Morfs, Literotica, Nifty, personal blogs I look at, several personal story sites, even so far as The Overflowing Bra.

Surgery News

First off, thank you all for the twenty responses I got and for the responses Grover got on his thread. That was very cool and gave me a warm fuzzy. I did kind of need that.

As for the surgery itself, it went great. They got the majority of the stones on both sides, easily getting the larger stones, and leaving some of the smaller, more easily passable stones. It took the full two hours to accomplish as there was a lot to do. The docs really worked hard to take care of me and do it right.

Into the Looking-Glass - A TWILIGHT ZONE story (Part Three)

This story is part of a trilogy, the first portion is more like a horror story, and the 2nd and 3rd portions have the TG in them.

Into the Looking-Glass - A TWILIGHT ZONE
By Anon Allsop

Part Three

-Fifteen-

After being away from home for several weeks, young Ian returned and faced Micah’s parents, divulging all of what had happened to their son. They were quite upset, but with additional information they redoubled their efforts to find Micah.

Embarrassment for his own involvement in Micah's disappearance, Ian packed his backpack and set off to find his friend. His searching led him far and wide, but the boy found no clue as to where his friend had gone. Sadly, he returned home after being gone for several weeks only to find that Micah's parents had moved away during his absence.

Ian graduated high school, moved after the sudden death of his parents and began living with his Grandmother. He started college in the town where he was living, up to that point, there had been no contact with his former friend...but all that was to change on a warm and sunny day at a nearby college campus.

***

Ian had been studying the young girl for several minutes as she sat in the grass reading a college book “This seat taken?”

frustrated with the local election

Well, things could get very dicey here after the election. One of the candidates of the party most likely to win is on record as saying gays and lesbians will burn in hell. Now, he's trying to say he said that as a pastor, not as a politician, but the party is also on record as saying it will allow marriage commissioners to not recognize a gay couple that comes in to get married, even though gay marriage is perfectly legal here.

Sigh.

And the pay check is not getting bigger to compensate.

So not good for any clothing, therapy, i don't even thing about meds.
Still in the closet for most part.

Health is not bad, my cat is lovely and i envy her.

DIVA in Wonderland, pt.1

This is a work of fiction and all characters are used without permission. The warnings I posted in part 1 of my prior story still apply. In this story (particually this part,) the wackyness is jazzed up to eleven. Just as a caution to everyone, this has been sent to the editor and will be replaced by the version I get back from him

.

I'm not doing as well as I thought?

Well, yesterday I went to the trans group pot-luck, and it was good, but apparently, my friends there are worried about me. They told me they can see both the manic and the depression, and that I need to get it under control, or I risk something bad happening.

Now, the person I was would have said, "Serves me right for opening up. I try to be honest, and they think I'm nuts." and would have withdrawn from the group.

But I'm trying to be a better person now, and sometimes, that means I have to be able to know when people are trying to tell me hard truths to help me.

No 'Project Guardian book two' this week

I don't think there will be any new part being added to my Project Guardian book two this week due to SamanthaK having some real life stuff to sort out.
I've not seen her to speak to in a few days now, so I don't have any more details for you. I can only guess that real life has once again struck.

Sorry to the few people that were enjoying the story, and I hope that it will continue soon.

A glimpse into my life ...

In the past 5 months I have realized I am as a flower ... like a seed planted in the ground I only existed, struggled with my life and hid from myself. Potential was there, waiting for me to realize living was not a punishment, but a gift from god. When my spirit was woken the seed cracked and I became aware of myself and a little of my surrounding. As time progressed the sprout broke through the ground and I was no longer hiding from myself and my surroundings. However, it was not until I formed my bud that I realized the true potential I had in my life.

Surgery Tomorrow

For those who have been following the saga, my kidney stone surgery is finally here. Tomorrow, at 7-730 am central time I will be having my uretoscopy. It will be a 2 hour surgery, since they have to go after stones in both kidneys and the one that has been trying to push free. Hopefully it won't be too bad. By noon I should be leaving the hospital and on my way home, where I will be drugged up and lounging around. So fun fun fun.

a "footprints" moment

You may be familiar with a poem called "Footprints" where a person looks back on their life and realizes how often God carried them through hard times. Well, God has been walking me through some "footprints" moments the last little while. Not so much about hard times, but just how He has put me in just the right place at just the right time to receive a blessing. I could give lots of examples, but two really stand out for me. First is the very existence and presence in my life of my daughter.

I Was A Craig's List Trophy Wife Part 5

I Was A Craig's List Trophy Wife — Part 5

by Lesley Renee Charles

Will telephoned me that night, requesting a date. We decided that since the next day was Saturday we would have a picnic in the park. He told me that he would pick me up at my house and drive me to the park. He sounded like such a gentleman. He also said that he would stop at a restaurant that had great barbecued chicken and cole slaw and get it packed up. He told me that all I had to worry about was looking beautiful and he said that should not be too hard for me to do.

Knowing that time is short before they all depart for the north, Garia arranges an afternoon demonstration of electrical matters to the King. Also invited are several of the Questors, about who she knows little except for her brushes with Morlan and the enthusiasm of Gerdas.

Thanks to all the comments and reviews. I appreciate that the most! Keep reading and I promise you all that you won't be disappointed.

End of 'The Ram'

Well. That's the end of 'The Ram'

Some have said the end seemed a bit rushed and a bit cruel. I feel I must in part agree with them. Not all stories can have happy endings and death comes to us all sooner ... or later.

I was getting slightly jealous of Daphne and wondering where to take her. This ending exorcises any lingering problems I had.

Ex-gay? No way!

The post the other day about the Anglicans putting 'ex-gay' ads on the buses made me react when I saw this news item this morning.

Turns out that the, um, individual that wrote a key article supporting ex-gay therapy is now admitting he was wrong. Not in so many words, but it's a step back in the correct direction.

Funny how these so-called 'objective experts' find them selves tied up in knots trying to justify their own bigotry.

Into the Looking-Glass - A TWILIGHT ZONE
By Anon Allsop

Part Two

-Eight-

A young acne-laden teen sat beside his bike and watched the workers run the slip scoop at the water's edge. At 14, he looked forward to the day when he could get a job like the one he was watching. A local crew had been contracted to dig out a portion of the river so a suitable structure could be erected to span its width. The bridge was heralded to become a gem for the city, grand and gleaming for all visitors to see.

Micah was well out of the way, positioned high above the working machinery. He was seated on the edge of the sidewalk which actually spanned the entire work site. He had always held a fascination with the heavy equipment, but as yet, never dared to venture down near its operation.
