The year is 2061. Global war has reduced the government to a shadow of what it once was. Individual cities handle most of the governing of the land, with the areas between cities lawless and wild. Travel between cities is fraught with danger, leading to vehicles being outfitted with armor and weapons for the journey. Most travel is done in convoys for safety. But these armed and armored vehicles have led to a new sport; auto dueling. A vicious and bloody sport, where the loser often loses their life along with their car. But new technology means that death in the arena is not necessarily permanent. But for some it is much more inconvenient than others...

Tanya took a deep breath, and then let it out.

Thanks to some suggestions from her friend Rachel, and counseling she was now getting, she felt she was making real strides in dealing with being raped, and the anxiety it caused relating to transitioning to being a woman.

To make things better, she had seen a doctor, and had an appointment soon to get a cat scan, the first step in the process to see how much surgery she would actually need to be the person she knew she was inside, however much she sometimes protested against it.

Ingrid…wow she’s a real fucking piece of work. I mean I’ve known some nasty and angry girls and some really screwed up girls and stuff but honestly she takes the cake for both of them.

Possibly the whole frigging bakery.

Okay if I’m getting this right she was Jenna’s best friend and the girl that was helping her transition. Which from what Jen has told me was the only time that she had started really feeling anything in her life.

John hasn’t showed me the sketches yet that he did of me this morning and we had packed up my things and he had left to rent a car because like a lot of people in places like Montreal, Toronto and yes even Quebec it’s not day to day practical to own and keep a car. This Friday I was talking to another transgendered person about a hate crime they had witnessed. I went home with an aching sadness and rage at the unprovoked violence. It wasn't until later while chatting with some friends that I heard someone say, "Haters gonna hate," to which I responded, "That's why lovers gotta love." After thinking about those two phrases last night, I woke up with the following song.

Yeah wedding one.

I wanted this as much as I want the big one and I had made a call into The Base and after some talking and some explaining with a few people. The base Chaplin is pulling into my yard and he’s meeting with Brandon and Ryan. I head to get dressed and into my very best as I see some RCMP cars pulling in.

Another shower and strong coffee. And I use my Veet to get extra smooth and then it’s the lingerie…Okay I might be insane for getting into this knowing I’m going to change out of it so shortly anyway.
