e waited another 10 minutes to be safe. The treasure chest was hidden behind the drawer.
A plaid skirt, a low-cut blouse, tights, panties, a bra and mary-jane shoes.
A beautiful set, created over a year.
It fits Jack perfectly. Everything fits well. He looks like a regular girl.
Excitement when he sneaks out of the house dressed like that. I've never forgotten it.
The thrill of being caught or laughed at.
Now it's all over. He can only change secretly at home.

Chapter Two - Paintings

 

Ever since that moment of radical transformation (or resurrection, if one prefers) back at the start of all the madness - when my name went from Justin to Jordan and personal pronouns flipped on their heads - I’ve had occasion to journey to a scattering of spiritual places. Planes of existence, dreams, realms - call them what you will - they all had a certain commonality. They were formed around an inner core, a nugget of desire or purpose which stabilized the whole and resonated throughout. Some were tied to entire stories sung forth in glorious splendor, others built on specific concrete principles or even emotional states. The more coherent the core, the more cohesive the realm - and all the souls and spirits resonating in sync with that pattern locked-in the solidity even further. Their presence and observations made things more ‘real’ within that domain.

I’ve tasted, touched, ripped, reinforced, and even created such places anew. The planes of Hell were no exception in their properties, and while I’d only visited two of the many available, for various (and desperate!) reasons I’d needed to delve deep into the structures of both to fight against a Chaos-corrupted agent attempting to shred them into incoherent pieces.

Previously in Havens Salvation

Betty is startled at how well her family fits in to the eclectic society of haven. She is delighted to find that one of the benefits of the protectors position is that her family gets a body guard in a wolf ware named James who was the previous protectors body guard.

Betty expecting a peaceful journey into the astral dimension is surprised to be deposited in an ancient past life battle to protect her families village from Roman tax collectors who were set to kill her parents and sister. Yanked out of that situation Betty is informed by the spirits of Ann and Maggie she was being tested to find if she could remember how to do the physical job of protecting Haven. This answered Betty is taken to the Ancient tower of Oaths where her taking the responsibility as the protector of haven is rejected by the Morrigan. They believe Betty not strong enough or women enough to do the job. The Morrigan allows for a test period until All Hallowed Eve its pass or fail. Fail she must quit her new home and move on.

I stop and turn and stare at him. “I said bonded not bondage!”
I’m blushing and he’s grinning and I slap at his arms. And he starts to laugh as he sort of defends himself.

There wasn't much on, so I settled for Dude, Where's My Car? which somehow seemed appropriate, given my situation.
Except that in the movie the aliens returned and fixed everything. In real life, of course, the aliens don't come back.
You have to fix it all yourself.

*Before…

My watch commander stops talking as the mines I’m passing more too and then we see them change…mechanical bug like legs slip out of the body and so does a head with a semi-human face only with a mouth like a shark would have and it pops out pincer like arms but with some kind of weapons instead of claws and there’s these beetle shell like bug casings that pop open to free up better thrusters.
There’s a burst of blue weapons fire and my drone goes white and I switch to others and I can see the mines all shifting and all changing and turning around and coming at our drones and we’re losing them fast.
My last drone the last thing I seen on the cameras was one of these shark-beetle things eating the camera…looked like it was coming to take a bite out of me.
“Sir!?”
I’m answered by our main bridge instead as the alert for battle stations goes off.

Well here it is, what my muse decided to turn to rather than Vagrants 8 or RiH 14. This one is an Archetypes tale, if you all remember that one. Different world than the one Fu was a part of, but still one of that play ground.

Also this story is a bit of an experiment in style; can anyone tell me what's different?

In 2009 a terrorist cell is inspired by their ancestors and re-introduces the use of castration and forced feminization rather than killings in order to spread terror. The modern attack is on a military museum on Veterans’ day. Caught in the trap are middle school children.
