The Katie Couric show today was about transgender children. It was VERY good. One girl who is now 19 showed what blockers and hormones can do. She is a really pretty young lady.

So, this is not the end, but this is the end of this part. I've just realized, well today while I was writing, that this really is one long novel. It is in separate parts, true, but this all goes to a single long story. There is one interlude currently (Club) and will likely be another before I begin Dee is for David which is then next part.

That being said, I really have NO idea how long this story is going to be.

I can tell you all, that Dee is for David, part three in the story picks up two years after the events of My Name is David.

So, all these stories with Fae, Sucubusses, and all that really confused me and no one would explain all the shit to me.

well, yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day. It started with my brother and sister-in-law coming over for dinner. My first instinct was to not be there - on the principal that since I caused stress, the best way for me to remove stress is to remove the source - me.

But my mom insisted I be present, and it actually was a decent night - no body slams, no use of utensils as weapons, not even name calling took place. I dont think I'm in their good books or anything, but if we can be civil during a meal, well, good things can happen.

Oh boy, have I been having a rough time. This is probably my longest stretch writing an episode, but I am please to announce to those who have been following "Angel" that the second half of Motherland is almost done, I am hoping to finish principle writing tomorrow, then spend some time closing gaps and a few re-writes before handing it over to the editors. This will be another long one almost 45 pages and continues with the situation unfolding in Star City, Russia.

Okay, so I just wanted to let you all know what's up. February hit me like a Hurricane and between nonstop headaches (due to a nurse practitioner screwing up a treatment) and life being extra lifey, I may, may have written 4-5k new words since the last chapter of Kit and Kin was posted. I was ahead in my other story but not with that one and since I can't seem to go a few hours without a headache or migraine, that makes writing tricky at best.

A bit of a tough night last night, the evil "tape" that runs in my head and jumps on every failure and mistake I make as proof of my utter worthlessness was running hot. I really need a more positive tape in my brain, but at this point, a loop of the Bee Gee's greatest hits would be an improvement ....

So, apparently when I was saying there were 8 chapters to Donna I was wrong. Somehow I duplicated chapter 4 and what I posted today I had as chapter 6. So, there are only 3 chapters left to this short tale.

Alternately, I've started up with My name is David again. Seriously considering posting there again, but putting up a spoiler alert the next 4 days.

Well, I'm going to try and not spend time worrying about my brother and sister-in-law. they will do what they think best, and so must I. And what's best for me is to try and focus on the blessings I have, which my daughter is one of the best. I love her laugh especially, sometimes I say goofy stuff to her just to get her giggling, its such a sweet sound in my ears. As long as I have that, I'll be okay.
