Perhaps...
We could, perhaps, do with visual and auditory clues to punctuation when reading... Sorta like was presented by Victor Borge, here.
Some nice ones in your link! I wonder what Mr. Borge would have done with them.
Annette
Thank you, Annette!
I hadn't seen that bit! I laughed so hard I cried!! Victor Borge was truly one of the greats!

He certainly was.
We had Borge's 'Phonetic Punctuation' record at home when I was a kid and I knew it word for word. His Mozart opera spoof is brilliant too. I once saw him perform live at Nottingham's Theatre Royal probably 40 years ago.
However, using a personality as a punctuation is not a good idea. How many under 50s have heard of Victor Borge? I assume Morgan Freemark(?) is a US entertainer as I've never heard of him and have no idea how he sounds except he probably has a US accent.
Robi
His name's actually Morgan Freeman.
And he's super sexy!
He was Lucius Fox, Batman's technowonder, in the recent run of movies for one example.
He's got this super awesome "point blank" bass voice. Only way I can think to describe it really.
He's the black man in this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1z6o1GIEsQE
Abigail Drew.
He's widely known as the ideal character actor...
...if the Director wants to add gravitas to a role.
One also hears his voice quite often in "voiceovers" in documentaries and advertisements.

How many, under 50...
Every one I can introduce to him via YouTube... Both of my daughter's love his acts... As have many of their friends. :-) As long as they remain available on places like YouTube - and we remember to share them... He continues to delight audiences.
Annette
You're....
You're welcome... If you check the YouTube link - you'll find at least a half dozen other performances by Mr. Borge... All are wonderful.
The Page Turner...
Mozart's Opera
etc...
You can't go wrong with any of them.
Annette
I want it I want it
I want this on my computer, except Morgan F. I love him as a performer but the use of his face as a punctuation, just not right.
Thanks for the link.

Victor Borge
This great man was a mainstay of the entertainment I grew up with. Thanks for the reminder, when I was reading the other punctuating My thoughts was also how he would add these to his act.

As soon as people can use the punctuation marks we already have
...we could introduce these, just to create some ongoing confusion.
Until then, I say stick to what we have.
