With everyone out of the Rale Valley Mall safely, it's time for the new Spirit Guard Serenity to deal with the details of her new life...

Unearthly Delights

I left home on the heels of a big blow out fight as I had finally come clean with my family about myself.

It was over Christmas and I had been trying to tell them for a long time. Well tell them that all of my life I’d never been Scott that I’d had always been Sarah. And it wasn’t like I had been planning on coming out but it was a combination of my brother being all super asshole with his whole rant on gay people and on pretty much anyone LGBT.

And it pretty much went down like this….

“You know what Sean fuck off!”

“What’s up your ass Scotty?”

“There are some of us y’know that are LGBT in this family.”

“That freakhole Mike?”

“No not Mike, me.”

In the not too distant future, evolution has taken humanity down a different path. In a society where gender is controlled with numbers, one young man finds that being evolved might not be such a good thing.

Having everyone over for lunch was fun. Dixie stayed in her room being embarrassed. Everyone else had a good time though. After the food it came down to talking about where we should take Sanctuary. This is the first time all the main players sat down to do this.

Chapter 33 - Growth

Daisy was busy adjusting to life as a Dolly Parton-esque woman, fending off the predictable rude off-colored comments. This took place, all under the watchful eye of Ivan or, in his absence, one of his henchman. By late afternoon, Daisy's shoulders were hurting as his bra straps dug into his shoulders from carrying around his mammoth melons. The lunch hour crowd had been heavier than usual. He was bracing himself for the happy hour rush, counting the hours until closing.

Chapter 15

As Maggie and Karen drove away, Karen was the first to break the silence.

“Damn! Could this get any MORE complicated?!

“To Viks!” The five of us toast, clinking our glasses of champagne (or in Charlotte’s case, non-alcoholic champagne) together.

“Seriously, you guys,” Viks complains, “my birthday isn’t until tomorrow!”

“Yeah, but we’ve got to share you with a BOY tomorrow,” Hannah giggles. “Tonight it’s all girls, girls, girls!”

“And on that topic,” Mary giggles, “Jamie, where the hell did you get those amazing nails?” I laugh as I wave my extra-long fingernails for the girls, highlighting the shiny black polish that’s been applied to each one.

Alex takes the zipper of the jacket and he does it up and zips me all the way up as far as it would go and I’m teased in my body and inside too…I mean that was actually funny. And I’m laughing because it’s just awesome.

“I take it that’s a yes then?”

He gives me another kiss and then he walks to the Café where he has to work and I watch him go and it’s such a nice sight.

And the kissing and The jacket thing and I’m actually happy again and I actually skip a little on my way to work and hopefully I can dish about Alex and me over a cuppa with the boss.

Eli and Cory haven't made it out of the mall yet and there is still the issue of Spirit Guard Tenacity, oh, you know, kind of dying...

And so we continue the dull adventures of Mick Reiling. With no action, little adventure, and an annoying ending bound to infuriate people of all ages.
