CHAPTER 79
Life was good. We celebrated Ish’s seventh birthday by withdrawing some of our accumulated bonus money and flying out to Esperance for some seriously wet fun, including a stop on Woody Island for penguin watching. Trying to explain the why and wherefore of polar bear and iceberg absence reminded me yet again of our son’s real age, despite his literary tastes, but there were places to swim, burgers to eat and granite outcrops to play on.

Neither Maz nor I had any truck with the sexist convention that women were meant to be mothers, but we were parents, and it was wonderful, most of the time.

We repeated our morning ritual of lustful sex and showering together. I put on a bra, panties, and a red poppy festival dress, with loafers. Fixed breakfast, read the paper, and lounged.

Diana was excited to drive her new Escape to a 10 AM hair appointment. Late morning, Diana sent a text: “Please prepare dinner for 4. Details later.”

I responded: “Message received.”

I had built my realty business up from a single office to well over three hundred offices, now I needed to sell the business or find some investors badly before I had to declare bankruptcy.

Chapter Thee – History Repeats Itself

Chapter 17

On Saturday morning, after breakfast, Willow went for a walk. She went down to the bridge over the river and then along the bank to the church. Instead of cutting back along Church Lane, she continued through the orchard to Coventry Road and back towards home along Vicarage Road.

She was passing the Club as a truck was delivering beer. The Club Manager saw her and called her over.

As Logan's transformation into "Elle" continues, a complete beauty makeover at an elite salon pushes his physical metamorphosis to startling new levels. What begins as an uncomfortable shopping trip to establish "Elle's" new fashion identity suddenly becomes much more precarious. A chance encounter with someone from Logan's past threatens to expose everything, forcing a desperate decision about how far he'll go to protect his unwanted new identity.

I was stuck in this ridiculous party for at least another hour. It was a surprise party for my eighteenth birthday. I could have missed it completely if I didn’t have to come home to get my notes for my research paper I was doing for school. The meeting with my faculty advisor was in the morning and I wouldn’t have time to retrieve them before the appointment time.

This part has sex scenes

On the way down to Sir’s office, I slipped into my room and quickly took out the bottom drawer of the dresser and threw the few possessions I had in the space. I put the drawer back and carefully made my way downstairs. The shoes felt strange. The heels were only two inches, but I wasn’t used to them.
