Skyler finds himself in an awkward situation and, because the situation could lead
to a huge scholarship, all the women in his life seem to want to keep him in that situation.
As I have done in a previous story, there are links posted at the end of each chapter that
will bring you to a YouTube version of the music mentioned. There's only one link for this
chapter, but there will be more as the story progresses. Please feel free to leave comments! A QUICK NOTE: This was a long and somewhat challenging story for me, AND it
was written during the most busy, exhausting and frustrating six months of my life. I hope
it appeals to you. If it doesn't, that's cool, too, but regardless,
it was my link to sanity during a tough time.
A promise to tell Blaine the truth. A blackmailing teacher making her move.
A visit from friends from back east. Homework. A TV show to be made... just another
week in the life of an average fourteen year old girl. Bebe's got a lot on her plate!
The quiet hum of monitors filled David’s hospital room, the soft beeping marking the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. His mother and Emma had just stepped out for coffee, leaving him alone in his still-unconscious state. The fluorescent lights above cast a pale glow over his motionless form.
The peace was shattered when one of the machines began to emit a shrill, rapid alarm. A nurse, passing by the door, rushed in to check the monitors. Her eyes widened as she read the rapidly climbing numbers on the screen.
Tommy and his twin sister, Cynthia share almost everything. Their looks, their love of cheerleading. But maybe sharing a preference for street-racing bad boys is going too far?

Once again, this chapter is much longer than I thought it should be. Please send me any comments you may have about the story, I look forward to reading and responding to them. The email address is listed below.
No sooner had Danny stood up when suddenly there came a knocking at the front door downstairs. The ring pulsed a few times sending a strange warmth through the new little girl's hand and she froze there where she stood and her mouth open wide as if some inner being within her was about to speak. The odd sensation quickly passed however and she blinked her eyes and shook her head as if she suddenly awoke from a strange little daydream.
With his parents gone and his sister, Penny, away at college, Danny anxiously entered his sister's room to snoop around at his leisure without fear of being caught.
He went right to her bookshelf searching for his Braldron IX video game cartridge that he was almost sure his sister had swiped from his room the last time she had the house alone to herself. Then again maybe his mom or dad finally carried through on their threat to ground him from his favorite video game after that prank he pulled last week on Jimmy Nellings, the little eight year old twirp down the block. Sticking gum on the kid's bicycle seat. It was only in retaliation for the little brat having done the same thing to Danny the previous day but even so the rotten little tattle tail, Jimmy, went and told Danny's mom about it and not too long after that the video game cartridge mysteriously vanished.
Danny Sweet finished his quick shower and dried himself off, spending extra time on his thick long hair, well long for a boy anyway. He was feeling much better except for his odd vision problem with mirrors. Danny read a lot and was particularly fond of fantasy and science fiction.
Danny didn't even recognize some of the things in the back of Penny's closet. He knew what they were, he'd just never seen them before. "She never wears this stuff," he said to himself. He held up what must be a skintight sheath dress in a glowing pink, covered in little bronze plastic disks that would move and shimmer when the wearer walked. "Mom would have a freaking elephant if Penny ever wore this!"
Becca's stay in the hospital leads to an odd mystery and way too much time for introspection -- along with bad hair, bad food, and a hospital gown from Hell.
The hair! The makeup! From the neck up, he had been made to look like a GIRL !!! Vaginia was real! Pearl wasn't a dream! She had even left a calling card of sorts - on a thin gold chain around his neck was threaded a single pearl about a quarter inch in diameter.
David's ascent, or descent, depending on one's point of view, into femininity continues with a cruel inevitability. But then a distant flicker of hope, of light at the end of the tunnel. Or will it turn out to be an approaching train? And Coralie returns, but alas no longer the girl you may remember. Oh, and some of the 'why' is revealed unto David. Not that he finds it reassuring.
The beginning was a beautiful time, filled with mystery and discovery.
If we are lucky, someone will discover that we are struggling, who
will lovingly help and guide us as we grow.
(I just finished a run in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", hence the idea and the title. :-)
Just to clear up some things about Danny. Danny was not, that he knew of, a transsexual; he was not a transvestite, or a sissy, or any of those things. He had never put on an article of womans' clothing nor had he ever had any desire to do so. If you had asked him about any of the above he would have said, "Trans ... whatsit?"
Bobby *finally* gets to see his mother in the hospital ... while wearing his new friend's dress. Just as he starts coping with her reaction, the last person Bobby wanted to see bursts in and winds up trying to drag him away.

Chapter 1
Eighteen-year-old Josh Reid stared out the window of his mother’s Land Rover as they drove towards their new home. He was lost in thought about how much his life had changed in the last year.
Volunteering to be a guinea pig, brings about a wonderful new life for our hero. However, every story must have it's conflict and intrigue, so watch out for mother-in-laws.

Andrea Leonard believes that television is where great actors go to die. A star of stage and screen, she fervently objects when her agent wants her to take the lead role in a television series.
Don Champp's life is in neutral. He isn't sure what he wants to do with his future, or what he wants to be... or who. When an agent tells him they have the perfect role for him, he takes the card and tries out for the part without any expectation of it turning into something more.
