An
unexpected day of puzzles for many. Ketko confuses Ursula again,
no-one knows if Lars can marry Nethra, and both Ursula and Eriana
have received unexpected letters from King Robanar! The day ends with
an ominous sighting.
"I wish men could have that experience," Camille said.
"... of being looked at like a piece of meat."
She managed to keep the edge of resentment out of her voice.
"That wouldn't work." Laura responded. "It wouldn't help at all.
Men would *love* being seen like meat, and being treated as sexual objects.
In their minds, it would work in their favor."
As the debut of his TV series approaches, over worked John becomes more and more
the fourteen year old girl he agreed to become. Blaine has some news and an offer, too.
It was amazing how one simple question could bring back so many memories. Some of those memories were heartwarming and others were frightening, but they all came rushing back when Ricki innocently asked that one simple question.
In Reiner’s mind, it all suddenly made sense: The quirkiness Joey had always had in his moves, his behavior, all of it! And yet, nothing physically changed about the person. All Joey had done was release his hair, and then, this new person appeared! — this person hiding in the guise of his teammate Joey!
What would happen if you could make the world be anything you wanted? Here's one outcome, compliments of an obsessed doctor and the gender dysphoric author who created him.
A Hanshin Giant player had just beat out a bunt single on a very close call, one that brought the Yokohama manager out to argue with the first base umpire.
“That was a bad call,” Goro said as he continued to focus on the ball game rather than the goings on in his box. Doho Taneda, having recovered the napkin with his left hand, was just getting back to his feet less than two feet away from Goro’s side.
“I’m so sorry,” were the last words ever spoken by Doho Taneda.
Chapter Ten
Synopsis- A clash between Hiromi and her grandfather nears even after a unexpected event shakes the Watanabe Yakuza. At the same time the Swan Song committee prepares to bring Agent Ripley in from the field, whether she complies or not.
Warning- There is a one scene involving violence against a woman that while not graphic could shake up sensitive readers.
The slumber party rolls on and Caitlin has to deal with more Truth or Dare, the loss of her gaff, sleeping arrangements and so much more. If that weren't enough the Hairy Navels are making her a bit stupid. More fun for her.
John was pissed that he died on the beach at Normandy.
It was June 6, 1944 and to say Private John Burton was unhappy would be an understatement. Even though he had heard General Eisenhower's speech on the radio, he really wanted to be elsewhere. Not that he wasn't a red-blooded American and not that he didn't grasp the importance of the mission. It's just that he was convinced there was a German bullet with his name on it. It was a feeling he just couldn't shake. All the trouble his parents went through to raise him, scolding him into good behavior, getting onto him to make good grades. And then all the money and effort Uncle Sam went through to prepare and train him for this exact moment, everything his life was moving towards would come to a wasted end on a beach in France he'd never heard of. He just knew it. And he was mightily annoyed about it.
Being annoyed couldn't describe how John felt when not even ten feet from the landing craft onto the sands of the beach before being cut down by German machine gun fire. Talk about being angry as he fell onto the sand...
And then even more angry when he woke up in another time and place as a naked teen girl...
