Everyone was heading towards the mysterious light on the top of hill, it wasn`t an easy climb to say the least with all the loose rock even during the day.

Something was up there but what?, that hill wasn`t climbed much because of it was considered dangerous unless you were a skilled climber and went up the east cliff face.

CHAPTER 32
He was smaller in the bed, but the smile was almost there. I had gone in with Darren, of course, the day after Albert had resurfaced. That smile, just the tiniest of quirks on the right side, and a tic in his speech that a stranger would miss.

Naomi rang the following evening. We had sorted out everything we thought they might need in addition to what we had packed in haste the day before, and Simon once more had done the shuttle run, accompanied by Merry. His face had lit up when he saw her, and I got a sly look of guilt when I winked at him over her shoulder as they embraced. Naughty vicar.

Chapter 67 Heart to Heart

I looked at my watch and it was already 6pm.

‘Kate I’m sorry but I’ve occupied a lot of your time already. Do you mind to carry on talking or have you something else to do?

It didn’t seem to be a problem for Kate and she seemed OK and she asked me to stay and have something to eat together if I liked since she didn’t eat much if she stayed in alone. I did feel obliged to accept her offer but also I really did want to stay and talk. She seemed to be the one person who might understand my situation.
