Guy Tregaskis stepped onto the porch of the large suburban home and paused for a moment to feel its force. He considered that all homes with any age carry a force, made up of the people who built it and the people who occupied it, and perhaps even those who occupied the land before the house was built.
What if even an ordinary mortal could alter history? There are so many theories as to what time is and what it would mean if you could alter history and create an alternate timeline in a parallel universe.
Being interested in extreme Astrology and a technician I have always rejected such theories, just until I woke up in HER bed and found myself changed ...
Wednesday, we finished early, and then went home. Mom had organized a doctor visit, so she and I drove to the clinic. The lady she had booked me to see was very nice after getting over the shock of me not looking much like an Edward George.
I explained how I ended up coming to see her in a dress.
She said that she had seen the TV thing last Wednesday and was already a fan. I then had to undress and get examined. My stuck-on breasts and glued penis caused some consternation.
Candace was my neighbor, and my fantasy. I always wondered what good deed I had done to deserve having a neighbor like her. She was beautiful and buxom and she had great style.
She was always well turned out with great clothes and hair and makeup always perfect. I met women all the time who just never seemed to be bothered – they were not interested in looking good, but Candace was. She seemed to me to be the ultimate lady.
"A liability?" she repeated. "Is that what concerns you? That he's a liability?
Weren't you and I liabilities for each other?"
"The moment you told the processing people that you accept him as Anson Charpont,
he became for all intents and purposes, legal and otherwise, Anson Charpont. In every way!"
CHAPTER 8
There were very few people from work at the reception, which Penny and Keith held in the Red Lion, in the same stables bar the folk club usually occupied. As many of the guests were fellow folk club members, it was familiar territory for them; the climbers, being climbers, simply needed to know what direction the bar was in.
The wedding itself was held in the Registry Office on George Street, and our plan was to wander back that way later in the evening to hit the India Garden on Wellington Street for a final refuelling stop. As the soon-to-be-married couple would be flying to Palma the next day, I pitied anyone sharing the plane’s cabin and their curry-related effusions.
Author’s side note: I’m now realizing that I probably should proofread these, I’ve made a few mistakes I wish I could correct. Also I thought it would be fun if Luke was more than just attracted to Tom.
—
A little after 2 am, a restless Luke lay awake, anxious from his growing feelings for his new houseguest. Trying not to wake his friend, Luke attempted to unsuspectingly examine his sleeping friend in the dim light shining through his living room window. The blond man had his head turned away from Luke, his sleeping body sprawled halfway off the couch.
Ariel finished her song and pulled the microphone away from her lips; the karaoke machine clicked as the tape reached its end. Bending over, she pushed the rewind button and was rewarded with an intense whirring sound as the tape ran back.
“How many times you gonna sing that?” Amber asked from her position on the couch. Ariel shrugged.
Life and Love are far more complicated than we can possibly understand. For one young cop, a journey of self-discovery will teach them that true strength was inside them all along.
The first day of college wasn't good for me . I reached late ,got schooled by my lecturer . But that was the day I met her, everything else becomes irrelevant to it . I could see guys already trying to impress her. Being a introvert I didn't have it in me to approach her directly.
Someone mentioned her name and I looked her up on Facebook. She looked very cute in her profile picture. I sent her Facebook friend request.
I waited for her in front of the theatre and as usual she was late. We had been together for four years and she kinda had made it a habit. It irked me a lot but the moment I saw her, It was as if all my frustrations disappeared. Despite that we had our fair share of fights .
The Hero From Another World was overpowered, moving faster and with more strength than anyone in the world, in ways that trivialized combat with enemies... but that doesn't mean he understood how to navigate a foreign culture, much less change the systems within in it he disapproved of.
After gaining the enmity of his former ally Lady Wren, he complains to his rather dumb but kind slave girl Sasha that he'd like to switch places with her and live her comparatively easy life. To his surprise, she does just that-- and it turns out she's not as dumb or as kind as the former Hero thought.
Despite her betrayal and intermittent cruelty, the former Hero becomes convinced to work with her to end slavery as a whole, and becomes enmeshed with a power struggle that lies beneath the surface of the kingdom... even as they struggle with their own identity in their new body and role.
The drive back to Luke’s apartment was awkwardly quiet, Luke driving, Tom staring at his big hands wrapped around the steering wheel, trying desperately not to think about what Luke thought of him. Every once in a while Luke would make a passing remark or ask a question, but he kept his thoughts focused on anything other than himself. It felt like an awkward first date, though both thought the other was straight.
Despite all the times I'd ended up half naked, or worse, in the last month, I was still blushing bright enough to light up a dark cave as my friends all 'helped' me.
“You have to try this on,” Naomi said. “It will look great on you.”
I wondered if I’d been thinking about myself as a lamb being carried to its fate. When we got to the TV studio, I realized that I had dressed mostly in white, from white underwear to my white slip, and white satin dress being worn for the first time.
I had added a light pink sweater because it was a bit chilly. But beyond that -- I had dressed as a virginal bride!

Starting hormones was one of the most amazing choices I could have made. It's lead to a world of difference that's made me happier overall. Of course, there were some obvious growing pangs early on in my transition...
