Late again but at least its the right day!
So lets get on and catch up.
After a quiet Thursday, Friday turned out quite warm again and my ride ended up being a short trip down to Bath where i met Aubty Bev for a bacon butty before joining her for the return leg. It wasn't quite as boring as it sounds, i did a bit of a loop to the north taking in some lanes i'd not previously used. 51km in total so not exactly a hard ride.
Saturday was another quiet one, the exercise amounted to a trip to the supermarket for some baking supplies. I then spent time pitting cherries before spending some time at the keyboard to produce another 1k or so of the new story which is now up on Patreon.
Today, being first Sunday of the month, was Bunfest day! The forecast was a bit mixed but it was warm enough and despite not intending to rush, a following wind had me at my destination 25 minutes before opening and i wasn't first there! Cake and tea was consumed, a couple of impatient showers passed through then it was time to set off for a slightly longer loop back. Which got longer, and longer, and longer, the little loop below the Cotswold edge grew to a climb onto the plateau then a sizeable extension further east before returning to Cabotville. 106km, almost 1000m of up the last 30km largely into quite a stiff headwind but thankfully after some early sprinkles, dry.
Of course i have now posted Chapter Five of the latest Gaby story.
So there we are, i expect to be back on Wednesday with more writing updates and tidbits from my life down here in the South West.
That's all for now,
Tschussie,
Madeline Anafrid
