Wednesday was my first day back at work, and thankfully it was quiet for an early turn. Den was now back at work, on day shifts and light duties, which at least allowed me to dump odd bits of paperwork on him.

Synopsis: After Andrew is released from the hospital, Janice takes him home and helps him become Jessica for the first time. Now that Jessica is finally free she intends to make Andrew a distant memory, and with the help of her friends she intends to build the life that she has always dreamed of having.

“Before we go find Gina, you need to read this.”

Tinker handed me an electronic tablet. As I read it, my eyes grew wide. I looked up at Tinker.

“You mean to tell me that Jonnie has been suspended down there in a pod for three years.”

Chapter 60 So what?

We sat back whilst Julie logged back on.

Mum said ‘What on earth is the matter?’

‘Do you remember last week when I checked the details of Darren Harper to find out if he was still registered?’

‘Yes I’m sure we do since as a result of that Chris ended up meeting him.’

‘Well, look here what is says.’

‘Yes so what?’

‘Well?’

‘Well what?’

‘It says he was married with 3 children. We know.’

‘Yes but something isn’t right.’

I’ve always been a normal guy. Okay, kind of a normal nerd. I like to watch Godzilla movies and all of the Star Wars franchise, and I really dig computers. I had a job in the mailroom at the corporate offices of a really large insurance firm. Why do they even have a mailroom? Don’t they know about e-mail?

CHAPTER 3
I lay with my man that night, hearing the wind throw a light patter of rain at the tent, murmurs of sound coming from all directions, including what was clearly someone making love. Sounds of life.

Synopsis:  Andrew’s time in the hospital may have been short, but it was enough to put him on the right track, thanks to the help of a very understanding nurse. Now with the help of Janice and those around her, Jessica is finally free to come forth! Life is never that easy though, and there will be struggles ahead. His parents will make sure of that. Can he overcome the struggle and become the person that he always believed he was? Time will tell.

I keep coming back to the music and the dancing simply because they are so life-affirming.
