A pair of twins cause headaches at Hayfield Hall.

Chapter 13

A garage door to the shop was open and they could hear Leo working inside. With a bit of nervousness the two young men headed inside. Both looked around in amazement at the clutter yet they could tell that it was well organized and regularly used. Leo was sanding the Bondo smooth on a fender that he had recently repaired. Leo sensed someone was behind him and put down the angle grinder to see who it was. With a smile he stood and removed the respirator, earplugs, and goggles he was wearing. The dust from sanding covered his body and with the respirator and goggles off you could clearly see where the dust had settled on his flesh. The smile on his face made Brandon and Gary feel welcome.

McKenzie is enjoying the park when he sees StacyLyn with her family on the trail ahead. Will she out him or be nice?

Chapter 39

I move carefully and let Ingrid sleep there on the sofa and I slip across the hall to the bedroom and Taylor follows me over. Giselle looks at me with those big blue eyes of hers and pulls her fist out of her mouth and smiles at me. Once I’m in the bedroom I sit down on the floor and beckon her over with my finger and she smiles again and does this little squat down and up bobbing thing of just happy kid and goes. “Heee” and she start wobble walking to me and she comes right over and she hugs me.

Author’s note: As most of my long-time readers know, at the age of seven I was taken to a child psychologist who was supposed to help me process the grief of losing my father to suicide. Instead of helping me, however, he used me sexually for the next two years, leaving me with scars I live with to this day. But maybe, in some other universe, things went quite differently.....

We came into the nondescript office, and my mother took me toward the receptionist desk.

“Ah Misses Bellion. This is ... Todd, is it?” The receptionist said.

CHAPTER 15
I was feeling just a little shell-shocked on arrival. Rachel was away with her own distractions, Mam was eying up Von, Neil was trying to tease Fossy, James was closing down again and I was trying to remember who the hell was who. I looked over our little army, and there was John, his face showing that he felt just like me. I waved him over.

“Felling a bit out of it, mate?”
