Simon took me home and after escorting me up to my room and kissing me goodbye, left. I shut my door and leant against it, I was walking on air and my head felt somewhere else. It was wonderful, an amazing warm feeling that I had never experienced before.
“Wish I'd been there” Mad mentioned
“Well you can see it tomorrow, I'm sure Gran'll put it on, eh Dad?”
“Sure she will” Dave mentioned from up front as they skirted Uttoxeter on their way over to the kid’s Gran's near Nantwich.

“I don’t suppose that’s too big a surprise, although the timing does seem a bit sudden. Is that what’s bugging you?”
“Yes, at least partially. I had built up in my mind that there was a chance we could make some progress toward reconciliation, but once I found out about the whole name business, I said I couldn’t stay and left.”
“I think I can understand that. And if she’s thinking clearly, I’d bet she can as well.”
“That’s the thing, I’m not sure what she’s thinking. And the other thing that’s bothering me, is she isn’t looking well.”
“Now that could be your imagination. Your subconscious looking for something that isn’t there. And even if what you’re saying is true, maybe it’s just the flu or something. As much as she’s been traveling, it’s bound to have worn down her resistance quite a bit.”
“True”
“Listen Dave, you hang in there. If anyone can make their way through this, it’s you. Just give it time. Everything will work out.”
Home means a lot of things to different people. To me, it's a place where you find unconditional love and acceptance. There are a number of places I've found that felt like home. This story is about a slightly different kind of place one might call home where I get to meet a slightly different version of a very special person many of you might have heard of.

PART THREE In which we get some answers, finally, and our heroes(ines) come to a parting of the ways? By the way, I placed some movie quotes in this part. the first one to find them all gets a slightly used, but in great condition, no-prize!
Here I was, worrying about how Juliette has been dealing with everything that’s been going on, and I come home to find Drew; well, maybe I should say Gaby, sitting on the stairs in her mother’s things, in such an upset state! At this moment in time what my child is wearing is of little importance. What matters is my youngest is in pain, and I have to do something…anything…to make that pain go away.
“It’s alright…everything will be okay…I love you so much…shhh…don’t cry…I’m here now…” Dave sat there on that landing, holding his child, for who knows how long, just trying to comfort her with his words and his touch. When finally the distraught youngster began to calm somewhat, he helped her to bed, tucking her in, then picking up a blanket for himself and sitting down in a chair at her bedside, just in case his presence would be needed again.
Baruchah and Maggie were playing in their room when Momma walked in with a cute little tiny toddler in her arms. The two girls dropped their puzzle pieces and stared wide eyed at the little girl snuggling in their momma's arms.
Momma smiled and told them, “This is your brand new sister, Michelle, and she is two-years-old, soon to be three.”
In music, the word cadence is used to describe a point of resolution. Another way of putting it is that it's a point in a song where it sounds like it could stop without leaving the listener hanging.
For those who might wonder what became of some of the characters from my story Changing Keys, here's a look ten years into the future. There are minor TG characters, but that's all. Hope you all enjoy it.
This story is a fanfic based on Maddy Bell's Gaby series and has been available on Maddy's website for a while now, but I haven't really been able to get a feel for what readers thought of it. So I've decided to post it here and hopefully there will be a few souls willing to share their opinions. I'll be posting the subsequent parts daily until it's done. Thanks.

“So I can tell, my dear...”, he began.
“And would you stop calling me ‘dear‘” I interrupted, “like I am some helpless... woman.” I fairly spat out the last word. “I am not a woman, and I am most certainly not helpless. Let me reword my previous questions in a format that you can hopefully understand: Why have you done this to me?” I actually managed to work some menace into those last seven words, letting him know that my patience was rapidly approaching its end.
The testing center was packed full of perspective patients waiting as patiently as could be expected for their turn to be poked and prodded. Their faces, for the most part, were plastered with looks of a combination for boredom and anxiety. If one listened closely enough you could almost hear the hum of frayed nerves behind the constant onslaught of crying and coughing.
"I still think I ought to tell him." I dreaded the idea and was hoping Stella could convince me not to.
"Fine okay, you tell him and maybe we'll meet sometime, maybe we won't, you certainly won't see Simon again, and what will it have proved? That you are honest but stupid."
The weekend camping trip has finally arrived, and Carl is heading out to the summer house where his long time friend is staying. Of course, his little sister decides to tag along. This turns out to be a very good thing, since it provides a chance for him to better understand what it means to love and accept someone for who they are.

Doing her best to pretend that nothing was wrong, Christina spent most of Friday helping Misha and Nina with household chores. Her attempts to savor her time with Misha and Nina were crushed by their concerned looks. When she looked into their faces, all she saw was worry. The women carried on all day, making small talk and doing chores. None of them dared to address the complications that that were tearing Christina in two.
Christina felt utterly lost. Had she ever felt so disconnected? Perhaps, when Amy had dumped her, but this was far worse. There was no way she could hold on to her family, and she doubted that even her gift, if Andrei could pull it off, would mend the rift that had formed between her and Alek.
A bored but romantic-at-heart witch enjoys a cross-country train trip. On her journey she touching many lives aboard the train and tries to make them better, while working around many of the rules and regulations of the magic community.
WARNING: This illustrated story (aka comic) contains violence against a transgendered person, including an attempted rape. That's why I rated this story 'Mature Subject' rather than 'General Audiences'. While the main character isn't just a helpless victim, this story definitely has some scenes some might have difficulty reading, especially if they've been the victim of violence. While this story doesn't end as badly as it could, it's pretty far from the disney-esque ending I usually write today.
I created this illustrated story a number of years ago when I had recently moved to a new area and heard about transgendered people being stalked there and about some other things that had been happening to them. It was a time when I realized bad things didn't happen in other places to other people. It could happen where I live. It could happen to me.
That's why I created this story.
