Fictionmania Back Up

Blog About:

Author:

Just to let people know that Fictionmania has successfully changed servers and is back and running, albeit with my recent postings there, gone.
It was interesting that when WebDeb advised us it was down there was a couple of comments about FM like - "nothing but soft core porn, most of the time" and "more sexually oriented material, for they who prefer more erotic fare". There was also the chilling statement - "PROJECT 2025 won't see any difference - if it's transgender, it's PORN; and a danger to the Fatherland".
Here is my comment in response:

Snow!

Blog About:

Author:

So yesterday and the day before, it pretty much snowed here all day, and it was what you would call a mixed blessing.

One the one hand, the city looks beautiful, white everywhere, and after a pretty grim summer that is a good thing.

On the other hand, drivers here seem to forget how to drive in snow, so car accidents have been plentiful.

Ah well, into every life a little snow must fall, right?

Debate regarding gender violence in Germany

Blog About:

Author:

The German Green Party has proposed the creation of “women only” train cars for the underground network in the capital city of Berlin, due to the huge increase of sexual assaults and rapes in the last ten years. This proposal has caused a huge backlash from most other sectors of the German society.

So apparently, Kama loss was our fault.

Blog About:

so reading the pundits take on the American election, the general takeaway is that Kama losing was trans people's fault.

Apparently, we are such a threat to the wellbeing of the US that because she didn't join the Republicans in declaring us subhuman was the difference.

This would worry me a little less if this wasn't the overall opinion of Republican and Democrat pundits, which means I fully expect the Democrats to throw us under the bus.

That the results of today's US election do not presage the disappearance of BCTS. We have been subjected to vile attacks because we do not conform to so-called gender norms promulgated by the winners.

I am not a praying person but I will pray for BCTS, which has been such a comfort to me for the last 17+ years.

Anti-Trans

Blog About:

Author:

To date, in October, the Trump campaign has spent about $60 million on ads, a full third of which has been spent on anti-trans ads.

The ads largely accuse Harris of supporting the US constitution when she was an attorney general by supporting inmates' rights to needed surgery. The ads fail to mention that gender-affirming surgery was performed for federal inmates during the TRUMP administration's time in Washington.

Six months after her report into gender care for children, BBC Women's Hour interviewed Hilary Cass

What I hear in this interview is not what I expected after reading much of what I read about the report.

Concerns for the Future

Blog About:

Author:

I have had health issues for a long time having heart and diabetes concerns. I recently have had another heart stent put in. I am doing well, but in case my stories should stop or writing problems creep into my stories more. I want you to know this community is important to me.

Since I have limited support from family, you will not likely know if something happens.

Love,

"The Green Fog" by Susan Brown.

Blog About:

Author:

I have always thought that "The Green Fog", was an absolutely riveting tale. Today, I started to wonder if any movie Producer had taken up the torch and decided to make it a Movie? If I knew someone in that business, I would most definitely approach them. Is "Hallmark" still doing movies. It would make a great children's movie despite it having adult content once or twice.

It is absolutely heart wrenching. I only wish....

I woke up this morning with needing to deal with SOMEONE, Goofle once (again ???). Perhaps what happened is merely a minor disturbance in the force. Their little ARMY was simply "Being All They Could Be". I'll get over it.

Just Be Aware

Blog About:

Much of the so-called "News" items being published at the moment is being sourced from The Dailly Mail. You should know that this paper is no friend to the LGBT+ community and is politically extremely right-wing, including backing the UKIP party at recent elections. That is Nigel Farage's organization.

They are posting a lot of "news" about the USA elections. Treat with a very large grain of salt.

I hope this doesn't contravene the site's restrictions.

"Stop OIL World Wide"

Blog About:

Author:

I just ran into a bunch of Mad Naked Bike Riders. Both genders. I had been asked to join them but am not a STRIPPER. Looking at the news this is almost world wide. They want people to stop using oil from the ground.

I've done my bit. I do not own a car, nor do I rent or drive one.

My incidental use is minimal...whatever the bus uses.

Come on. Do your part.

Gwen Boucher.

Gov Abbott Exec Order

Blog About:

Erin, ladies remove this if it's out of line for this channel.
Abbott passed the same exec orders Gov Stitt did years ago.

Thus I reached out to equalitytexas.org and explained how I worked past Gov Stitt's exec order when he had done the exact same thing. Received a response thanking me and inviting me to join. I'm not going to but it was a kind of them to offer.
