I see severe winter marching across from Kansas to DC. Please stay safe, our sisters and brothers in its path, and preferably under cover and off the roads. The temps and snowfall make our disruptive UK winter weekend a mere shower by comparison.

I often say
Texas almost never gets snow but we definitely get sleet and ice. This is one of those weekdays you don't accidentally leave a dog outside unless you want him to die from hypothermia. Which I don't.
I like to joke someone in Canada left the refrigerator door open and now their weather is ours. Dot close that dang door!

Missed us by that much...
Holding two fingers an inch apart. Storm tracked south of us here, thank heaven.
We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

And headed towards 3° overnight! Looking 0° by Thursday overnight! Woohoo!
Good news is that that's low enough to freeze dry the snow and ice! /grin
Bad news is it froze my PTZ camera /facepalm
