Can't write tonight

I really do try to keep on top of my writing. You can ask those part of team WAM that I normally stick to my schedule. BUt I am too heart broken to even try tonight. How can I not weep for the loss of innocence today? I have always been emotional, always quick to shed a tear, but some things just break my hear more than I can bear.

Why Do I Even Bother Anymore

I might sound like a broken record and frankly I don't give a damn anymore. I'm just really tired of writing and not getting any recognition for it. All I have is writing...there's nothing else. The fact that everyone only seems to care about one thing I write or one genre---whether it be The Center, the CRU or the DarkRealms---as soon as I try to do something different, I get nothing for it. I was super excited about writing The Underappreciated. It was new and fresh and I actually enjoyed writing again. Sadly the last few chapters I've posted have done nothing.

The first dose...

I had given up on my previous endocrinologist, with good riddance. Two of the three visits I made to her office I left feeling pretty bad about myself, and I was already pretty low. Anyone that has been tracking my blogs know that I was pretty near to giving up on life.

Sarah Carerra - 3.32 - Repercussions

"This sucks," I told her. "I don't want rumors about Sarah to ruin my friendship with him! Last night was so much fun, and I don't want it spoiled!"

Chapter 13

After a bit, the woman that had the necklace came into the teepee. She stared a minute and then held out her hand. I sighed, took off the necklace, and handed it to her.

“Thank you. I wouldn’t have survived without it. I assume you are a member of the crew of the spaceship hid in the Tetons.”

O editor, where art thou?

I promised myself--and all of you--that I wouldn't talk about my story or the contest again here, but as with most of my promises, it was a far easier thing to make than to keep.

But I do have a good reason for breaking my promise. I've been spending the last few days--in between medical appointments, Christmas parties, and personal responsibilities--trying to pull together some 17,000 words of story fragments into something coherent. I have enough material in a decent-enough state of completion for the first two installments. From the looks of things, my little story is going to be a novella before I'm through, if not a full-fledged novel.

Got a call from the hospital today

I got a call from the Grey Nuns hospital where I was supposed to be taking part in the day program in January. The doctor I talked to said the day program may not be a good fit for me, since I work nights and have Samantha in the evenings. But I will see him a week from today, and hopefully he can find some other alternative.

Bikini Beach: Organlegger

Did you ever wonder what might happen if the owner of a lifetime pass to Bikini Beach became an organ donor? This is the story of one who did, and of the four organ recipients.

An explanation of the title follows the story.

Much thanks to Elrod for his editing this story and agreeing to let it be posted. Thanks also to Steve Zink and Caleb Jones for their comments and suggestions, some of which were even taken in the final editing of this story.

who's messin around

Fo the last couple of days, I have noticed the top half of the page is in a smaller than normal font, and the lower half is about 4 times that size and in bold, and some of the stories are popping up liike that, at least in my browser, which still unfortunately a windoze product. Is it on my end?

The Boy Who Wasn't

The story posted today included the tag as being Forced Fem, however I did that so as not to offend some of those who tend not to read stories tagged as such. It's not true that it was forced on the boy unless you consider the fact that it was mother nature that decided for him. Thanks to all that do read it and I hope you enjoyed it. Best wishes for one and all for the holiday and an extended thanks to the staff of B.C. Joe

Twas the Night

lights06.gif

Unfortunately, this year I was miserable. All of my gifts from the first day onward, were gifts for a boy and not for the girl, I should be. The girl I had been for almost two and a half years. At least then, the underwear would have been several pairs of matching bras and panties, rather than plain, unadorned white T-shirts and those stupid tighty whities. Instead of the boring shirt and tie I got on day two, I might have gotten a flirty blouse or camisole.

Chapter 6

Standing Tall

Summary: Stephanie can’t be herself, and her attempts to be Daryl have failed. Desperate times lead to desperate measures. Can a little nine year old survive under all the pressure? Things get complicated as people respond to Elwood’s bullying behavior.

Caution: Stephanie finds herself under attack in this chapter from a school yard bully.

How your titles effect the way I view your story

I was going to write this in a way where it appeared everyone had the same view I did, but since I don't know how everyone feels about the situation, I will just write on my view of the situation.

Yeehaaa! It's cold.

The first and probably only cold snap has hit South Texas. So we get our winter this year, according to extended forecasts this should last into the first part of January, but I'm skeptical. Time to go shopping for a winter wardrobe (I wish). Now I know you Yankees are poo pooing our winter, but when eight months out of the year temperatures are 95 ° and above you get excited when the cold comes. I will be enjoying my walks in the fresh morning air for awhile. So this Texas gal says bundle up little dogies and keep warm if you can, find someone to cuddle up with. Freezing smiles, Jenn.

Escaped Stories

It's funny how stories tend to get away from you. I came across two things last night that I guess I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. On Crystal's Cyberboard, there was mention of a TG story site I'd never heard about and clicked on the link. On the site were the first two installments of "The Relucatant Girlfriend" which they never asked if it was okay to post. I guess it's not a big deal since I was still credited and at one time, those stories were on at least six different sites including one translation into French.

My car wouldnt start this morning

Well, my car wouldnt start last night, and I probably didnt handle it well. I got a ride home from a friend, being unable to find the number for my road-side service company, and afraid that a tow truck would take forever in this kind of weather.

I focused on going home, figuring my best chance of thinking straight would be after getting a nights sleep, but I should have realized my mom would panic and wake me up and freak out when she realized the car wasnt home.

Openness on gbl T issues

This is an interesting article from a member of the LDS church. I first saw it on Facebook when a member that I know here in the Portland area posted it. I don't really know how to handle the news, and I hope that those who are passing it around, don't get hurt. So far as I know, the church does not at all understand the issue, but I will say that they seem to be trying harder to figure it out than any christian group that I know. Sure, there was pain and hardship in the past, but I just want to give them a chance and see where this goes.
