"Where do you think you’re going dressed like that young lady?" My grandmother asked me. I was poised outside of her house door dressed like most boys my age for school at the Smithsonian Private School. White short-sleeve dress shirt, school tie, blue pants that matched the darker blue blazer, dark socks in black dress shoes. I was caught poised with one foot in the air. I didn't have my new pink schoolbag either with the Hello Kitty on it.

Well not quite hell but out here in the suburbs it’s kind of the same thing. I’ve even sort of grown up in hell.

Mom’s a housewife and that’s all good and everything and Dad works in a bank and we’re well off. Even with that whole banking thing we’re still kind of rich, definitely upper upper middle classed. See Dad was the quarterback of the high school team and he was that guy that was the sports star and hero. My dad’s not a hero he’s a lucky jock.

Before we went to sleep for the night, Jamie and Sharon took me aside to talk. “We just want to thank you and say we are pleasantly amazed by the neat Sister you are turning out to be.” They could tell by the stun look on my face that I did not understand.

My name is Willy and Summer Camp started for me and my sister as soon as school was out in mid-June. I started at Camp Arrowhead but that and a few other things changed on my tenth day. Willy will get the full experience of being a Rainbow Camper.

PREVIOUSLY
Dawn and Aunt Susan took me to get me some more clothes and if possible I would stay with them and finish the school year. Dawn was thrilled that Danica was to continue and wanted me to finish the school year with her. Shopping ended with a stop to get cosmetics and skin and hair care items. I was surprised that supportive in getting what I needed.

This chapter describes the births of the babies and the preparations for the wedding.

I practiced daily as I can and jammed with Dad at least twice a week picking up a cord sequences here and there. Travis remained my instructor; he was comfortable with my working with Dad, saying I was progressing well.
Dad shared he leaned things, which helped him as well. While Dad became my biggest fan and encouragement, Mom would take time as well on the keyboard. He would usually use the bass guitar when we jammed and his acoustical guitar if he was trying to teach me something…

It is so unreal going shopping with Sunny and Mom. I mean I’ve never seen my Mom remade like this at all and after getting kissed by Dad like she had been she’s very much back to being or feeling like the girl that she was before me and marriage and work and bills and stuff.

It’s a strange thing when Sunny get’s us some bottles of water and some energy shakes in a can to take with us.

“Why are we?”

Mom laughs. “Oh Terry I think we’re shopping with a professional.”

This chapter deals with developments while Arfon is keeping a low profile. His forced abscence results in Briony winning an uncontested divorce and the question of custody of the children never arises. Arfon dare not surface because there are warrents out for his arrest.

Chapter 4 - Home, Shopping, Girls Night In.

(Author's Note:) I have three stories that need to be completed. This is one of them. Now I write my stories from how I was accepted in the 1950's in a small, redneck town, in the American upper midwest. The so-called rednecks stayed to their drinking at the taverns with their buddies. The things I put in my stories is what I actually had. Yes, I had pantyhose instead of tights because I wanted to be a big girl.

Dang tears, they seem to come at the worst times. We sat on the bench just outside of the changing rooms, and I didn't care if others saw me or not. I was happy, and I am a girl, and I had a right to cry whereever I wanted to, for whatever reason. Bobbie sat on one side of me, and Cindy on the other. They held me from both sides, to show they were very serious about being there for me.

We finished our pud and were clearing the dirty crocks to the kitchen when the ’phone rang. ‘I’ll get it, Auntie,’ I said, putting the pudding bowls on the counter above the dishwasher. I hurried to the ’phone and lifted the handset.

‘Gaby? This is B-Bryony. I’ve t-told Mummy and we’re g-going to see D-Dr MacNeish after tea.’
