Collecting the Reward

Part 1

“I thought that I would meet you, Sir, so that you could see that I was qualified to receive the reward if I am successful.”

Bev eventually meets her mother and sisters but she still remains circumspect about renewing family connections.

“I know this is only going to be for a couple of hours, but it’ll be a taste of what you can have all the time, later on.”

“This can’t be happening,” Miles thought. “I have to wear women’s underwear for a whole week? There’s no way this is real life.”

Liz had Miles follow her upstairs and led him into her room. She went into her closet to search for something, and as she did, Miles looked around the room. It was practically the same as his, except she had a frilly pink bed and a big mirror on top of her desk, which had an array of makeup in front of it. After looking through her closet for a little while, Liz popped out with an unopened pack of panties.

Chapter 8

When Lady Appleby came in she came over to me and enveloped me in a big hug.

“Those dresses were absolutely ideal. It’s been a couple of years since I got my picture in the magazines and here I am with two inside a few weeks.”

I thanked her and introduced May, the dressmaker and part of any future projects.

I thought that you might like to see how I am progressing. I know that I shocked you when I told you about the real me, but I need to share with somebody who knew who I used to be, just how much I have changed.

I am staying with a bunch of girls who are just like me. It is a bit spartan as perhaps you can see, but we are all saving our pennies for you know what, and what don’t spend on rent or food or saving for surgery, gets spent on looking as good as we can, simply because that is what women do.

It's pretty obvious that TransSexual Syndrome (TSS) is fictional, even though some think that it's real and are being rude about it.

Anyway, I will be providing you with some information about the disorder.

1) TSS can go two ways, a child can be born a male and become a female due to this disorder and vice-versa.

2) TSS has severe psychological effects. It can cause depression and drive a person to suicide.

Dave looked sly. "I heard it involves a cheerleader."

CHAPTER 38
I sat for a while, mulling over her revelation, and in the end decided to leave it for a private moment; there was clearly so much hiding behind her words that it would have been unfair to put her on the spot in public. We ate our rice and stuff, piling up prawn shells (is that the word?), and drank far too much, as was traditional for Brits in Tenerife.

It was more than that, I realised, as I looked around the group and saw how many were staring at their plates or glasses, or simply into space, and after a while, I recognised the mood.

Guilt.
