A friendly place to read, write and discuss Transgender Fiction.
Home of 3000+ chapters of Easy as Falling off a Bike by Angharad and many other stories.
I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
Caught dressed in a little girl's dress, Alex must explain himself to his
judgmental mother. He also finds himself befriended by the teenager who lives down
the hill and has to make some decisions about how he is going to proceed from here.
In this chapter, Emily navigates her first day back at school after a difficult suspension, facing anxious stares, whispered judgments, and the lingering tension with her classmate Trevor. With encouragement from her foster mom, Mrs. Blake, and the support of her friend Jasmine, Emily begins to reclaim her confidence, discovering unexpected moments of connection and strength. As the day unfolds, she finds herself adjusting to a life that feels increasingly like home, both at school and with her foster family.
The village of Isksay is an idyllic little village located around ten leagues from Sea Breeze. The village is a small farming community and is best known for the many windmills that dot the surrounding hills. Each Autumn the village celebrates the bountiful harvest by holding a community wide celebration. Now even adventures need some down time. And so, upon hearing that annual harvest celebration was about to take place, I packed my bags and saddled up Coco and started toward Iskay
Well behind schedule, the column reached the city of Kodor early in the morning, with frost still on the grass. The dead city looked far different than it had when Keir had last visited it over three hundred years ago.

There is a debate about transgender children. Should a Child be allowed to change gender? Some parents even allow their children to be drag kids! Should we allow this so the child is happy? Or is this just a form of child abuse?
You may know me as Pinky and read a lot about me. This is my story in my words.
A story of who I was, who I wanted to be, who others wanted me to be and who people thought I was
The Los Angeles DPA headquarters and research labs, which were actually not in the city proper but out in Agoura off the 101 freeway, hadn’t changed much since I was last there - at least from the outside. It still had the three stories worth of dark reflective windows sticking out of the hill into which the complex was embedded and also the massive open parking lot of the kind only found in the suburbs.
While Haruko had indeed arranged for a car and driver (a limo no less!), I’d borrowed a phone to ask her to have them start the slog over the hill and meet me here at the agency. Despite being in the middle of studying for finals Kurohoshi’s daughter had already heard about the attempt on Isaiah’s life and promised to pass on the instruction to the driver. She also gave me his number so I could reach him direct if anything else changed.
Before she hung up she reminded me that I was on the clock to be ready for the evening - all while still not giving any details of what was going on.

The next morning, Ruth came to Rachel's dorm to oversee Maddie and Hattie pack their things. The twins would be sent to Pretty And Pink's Virginia building, which happened to be the company's first establishment. The whole time Maddie and Hattie were packing, they cast dirty looks in Rachel's direction.
"I hope you're happy, bitch," Maddie said to Rachel. "Now we're getting yanked out of our lives here."
"Yeah, well, I didn't want to get yanked out of my old life, either," Rachel said coldly.
"Where did you live, in another orphanage?" Hattie asked.
I came home smelly, dirty and sticky from the sap in all of those weeds I had to whack out of existence. Rob and I ranked so badly we were forced to sit in the bed of the truck as it rained. Which wasn’t bad as we had cold bottles of water, the wind rustling all around us, and a good seventy-five dollars each. I felt proud, almost grown-up…except without the bills and worrying about what to cook for dinner.
I took a deep breath as I peered out the car window. The sight that greeted me was nothing but flat, rolling fields that seemed to stretch far beyond the horizon. The Mississippi Delta was flat as a board. As I released my drawn in breath I shifted my eyes toward the woman seated beside me. Her name was Lavender Stoner and she was less than thrilled to have me along for the ride. I could say the same for her. Sitting next to her was like sitting next to a junkyard dog.

Francis Holcomb, known as Fran, carefully walked into his sick mother’s bedroom carrying a bowl of steaming soup broth. She had been extremely ill for several months, and was now terminal. Twelve-year-old Fran had taken care of her mostly single-handedly to the best of his ability, but the outlook was very bleak.
“Fran, honey, I don’t think I can get it down,” she said, weakly.
“Pleeeease, mom? I don’t want you to die,” said Fran.
No one knew how it started. It just did. The nanites were probably designed to fight cancer or restart dying cells. They certainly did that. The upshot was that most of the world seemed to be infected by a real-life zombie plague.
“With the way Dad is being, I can’t move back in any time soon. Would it
be okay if I came over sometime after you get off work and before Dad
comes home, and get a few things out of my room? Or could I ask you
to pack up a few things and bring them to the Ramseys’ house, or bring
them to work and let me come by to get them when Meredith or Sophia are
giving me a ride home from school?”

What if even an ordinary mortal could alter history? There are so many theories as to what time is and what it would mean if you could alter history and create an alternate timeline in a parallel universe.
Being interested in extreme Astrology and a technician I have always rejected such theories, just until I woke up in HER bed and found myself changed ...
