Driven from Normal. (Extra A.I. Images)

Printer-friendly version

Precision driver Simon McKenzie’s work week started reasonably normal with a job in Queenstown, New Zealand, driving a vehicle for a new TV ad being filmed there.

After only a few days, and a series of events that seemed to quickly snowball, the 23 year old found himself standing in a bar waiting for his new girlfriend to arrive… But, what wasn’t normal, is that it's him wearing who's little black cocktail dress…

Driven from Normal. (Extra A.I. Images)

-These are a few of the A.I. generated images that didn't end up being used in the story.
For those interested, I used a free website (https://www.designstaff.ai/) and it works ok with a range of art styles, but it can overreact slightly with any request that it deems to be too raunchy. It also comes up with some epic bloopers that are interesting to say the least.

For a few different reasons, such as the image not matching what I had pictured when writing the story, or just not required at that point in the chapter, these images didn't make the final cut. I thought a few of them were too good not to share, so here they are, along with a brief description.
Also, thank you to all those that have read my first story and followed it through all 36 chapters. I've really enjoyed reading the comments and the messages sent and I've tried to take on board all the advice and suggestions regarding editing etc.

(Top Centre) - Simon in the Tux. I didn't use this due to the noticeable breasts
(Top Right) - Simone shaving in the mirror
(Bottom Row) Various Simone images that didn't translate exactly from the descriptions.

Another few images of Simone that either just didn't manage to hit the mark or weren't relevant to the story after a re-write.

These images

are so sophisticated you wouldn't know they were AI created, thanks Arejaybee.

Angharad

Some of them are photo

Some of them are photo realistic, it's just an extra finger sometimes that's a give-away.

Thanks RJB

Great images.
Open grovel mode… any chance of high res versions? Would make great phone wallpapers ….close grovel mode

Cheers

Hi, yeah no problem for the

Hi, yeah no problem for the high res versions, which ones in particular?

Fascinating

Emma Anne Tate's picture

Thanks for sharing these — it gives me a bit more appreciation for the process you had to go through to get just the right images for the story. The “Simon-in-a-TShirt” shot probably does the best job of being a believable “guy-mode” for the stunning Simone. But with a few exceptions, the AI does a good job of making Simon and Simone seem believable through a whole lot of different looks. Simone’ apparent age seems to fluctuate depending on her makeup and ‘fit — just as it dies for flesh-and-blood women — but all of the images are still recognizable as being the same person.

I'd noticed a few age

I'd noticed a few age differences as well, the other issue was trying to get hair lengths correct and consistent. It would so much easier if you could alter an image with suggestions like, this picture, but with...

Amazing

I was wondering where you got the images. I mean they fit the narrative so well. Was thinking you wrote the narrative to fit the pictures but see it's the other way around!

There were a few minor tweaks

There were a few minor tweaks to the story to help better fit with the images, but mostly the pictures were from the descriptions from what I'd written.

You told a wonderful story

You told a wonderful story hope to read more of your work in the future.

Thank you. I have started on

Thank you. I have started on a new story already, I'm hoping it will be as well received.

Like many of the other comment-makers

I was astounded to find that these were AI, and not specially posed shots of live models.
I have just returned to yout post from another I have been following, where the illlustrations have the depressing appearance of being hand-made attempts at photo-realism. No names, no pack-drill, but you have some real laurels on which you can recline, not discounting your ability to write a (expletive deleted) good story, which could even have survived on its own merits without those superb extras.
The number of pictures in this posting also shows that you are a perfectionist in only using the very best. Your rejects are also very good, even though they did not fit your high standards for inclusion!
Best wishes
Dave

Some the images are very

Some the images are very photorealistic and I'd love to be able to take full credit for the images, but other than typing in a description and hitting generate, I didn't really do much. Other than a bit of patience waiting for the right image it was all very easy.

Unfortunately the Designstaff

Unfortunately the Designstaff website has been taken down, hopefully just temporally.
