Hi, my name is Kevin. I am a ten-year-old boy, or at least I was until everything changed. Let me tell you a little about myself I live in the Hollywood Hills of California with my parents, Robert and Karen, both in their late thirties.

My dad is a firefighter and my mom is an emergency room nurse. Unlike many children my age, I was not spoiled; I was a diligent student and a caring individual.

However, I was notably small for my age, standing at just four feet tall, making me the shortest in my class, even among the girls.

I had joined the Royal Navy as soon as I left school, just meeting the minimum height requirements, and had forged a naval career as a specialist diver. Now, at nearly thirty, I was Leading Seaman Michael Brown. I had just finished working on a salvage job and had put in for two months leave.

Childhood should be a time of fun and laughter, but for Martin it was to prove a depressing and miserable time, until things started to change, and a light shone at the end of his tunnel!

Miracles are few and far between, but for Martin, his life went from bad to brilliant!

Jeff would have loved to follow it, but he had to take care of his ship first, and that was that.
