A friendly place to read, write and discuss Transgender Fiction.
Home of 3000+ chapters of Easy as Falling off a Bike by Angharad and many other stories.
I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.

This has been a very tough week here.
In this chapter, a new morning brings the warmth of pancakes and hesitant steps toward connection as Emily begins to navigate life with the Blake family. Amid laughter, soccer games, and quiet moments under the stars, she takes her first steps toward finding her place in their world.
Life has some certainties, birth and death of course, but the rest is a mix of Minestrone and Spaghetti, some of which we have no direct influence over. We can however decide whether we want Parmesan or other seasoning, we can give Gnochi a try, doesn't mean we'll like it but at least we'll know. Gaby has reached just such a point in her life, she knows she likes Pizza, she's not averse to Spaghetti or Lasagne but is Gnochi for her? The Gnochi in this case is doing the singing with BlauHase on a more serious level, as a 'hobby' its fine but could this be a change of career? Well you don't find out without trying so that's just what our heroine is about to find out in this, the 27th book of the Gaby saga.
Clark and his twin sister Kelly are not as close as he'd like them to be. Clark is a shy clumsy loner and Kelly is more athletic, outgoing and popular. She's also a very determined ballerina and the only one their parents seem to care about. That all seemingly changes when Kelly breaks her leg while practicing for an upcoming recital. Their mother, along with Kelly's teacher, decide the best course of action is to find a replacement. One who looks very similar to her.
Peaches is an unusual boy with an unusual school project -- he's going to spend his semester exploring gender roles in high school by living as a girl. Things get complicated but everybody learns something -- including Peaches!
The first three chapters and the epilogue of Dear Rylee are here on BCTS for free, but due to Amazon's policies, I can't have more than 10% up. To continue reading, you can buy it on Amazon, or simply download the ebook for free. Enjoy!
After figuratively bumping into Richie Morrow on the way to the dugout, I literally collided with Jimmy Fallon, our team’s player-manager, as I sprinted onto the field.
Cerridwen and the Phantom Nurse
Chapter Two: A Fight from Peril
“Come now Cerridwen. We must keep your appointment with the Grim Reaper.” The nurse said smiling as she reached down and wrapped her fingers around my wrist. And with that she pulled me into the darkened hallway. I wanted to struggle, to break free, but she held me firmly in her grasp. And so I could only breathe a prayer as she pulled upon me.
. . . as much as I enjoy my life as it is, somehow, it’s never enough. I wanted something else. Something more. Hermes might be the one who could bring me there.
It is amazing how an unsolicited phone call can turn your day upside down. I’d been on the phone for almost half an hour with one of these before I ended the call feeling both mystified and frustrated. I sat at my desk for well over half an hour trying to make some sense of what had transpired on the call. Finally, I called out to Sue Fredericks, my No 2 and right-hand woman.
We stopped talking to eat the meal that had been put in front of us. It was a seafood dish, but I couldn’t pick one of the ingredients. When I asked, Queenie told me that it was Moreton Bay Bugs and King Prawns in a Hollandaise sauce with a Greek salad and lightly toasted bread pieces. It was delicious and I told the waiter that when he came to pick up the plate. Queenie smiled.
“So... Lauren, would you mind venning me into a plushie? And then you
could change me back before you go home?”
“Sure,” I said, a little surprised but not entirely. “What kind of
plushie? I’m not as good at venning people into living dolls as my
friend Sophia, but I’ve gotten some practice at it lately.”
Cerridwen and the Phantom Nurse
Chapter One: An Midnight Encounter with Nurse Spooky
Warning: The following contains elements of horror. And a brief scene of mental torture. If you are sensitive to such things. Please enjoy one of my other stories. And though this is a horror story with elements of the supernatural thrown in for flavoring. I would like to assure my faithful readers that this story does indeed have a happy ending.
Sometimes I wish I was shorter than him, but he says that he loves me the way I am. I am wearing heels in this shot, so he looks shorter than he is. But he says that he likes me to wear heels – they make my legs look even better.
“What the hell, Babe. Even without heels you are taller than me, so what do I care? Just be as beautiful as you can be.” That’s him. That’s my man.
Hi Reddit. I am making this post as I wanted to tell people about how my life turned out. You can choose not to believe me, but here it is regardless. I can’t tell you my real name, so I will say my name was Bernie. I was a shy, unassuming teen. I had a rough life, beginning with my father throwing me out of their house on my 18th birthday because he decided it was time that I went my own way. And I never had an 18th birthday party.
My parents never treated me well at home, and I was relieved to leave my childhood house with only the things I could stuff in a backpack.
Daydreaming on Deck (Part 5)

Author's note... Here we are at the end of another story. I used to write very fast, I would be on another couple of romances even before I started spell-checking the one I was finishing. (Which could take a while) Now I am in some sort of cruise mode...
