Night Entries, Chapter 1

Author's note. This is based on my actual experiences. It contains frank discussions of sexual abuse and an attempted suicide. Please take care reading.

Dear Diary;

This is my first entry in any diary, ever. So I really hope I’m doing this right. When I saw you, diary, sitting in a discount bin, and I realized I had just enough money in my pocket to get you, it was like Fate, or something.

After the battle Drustina is forced to address her pregnancy and forthcoming parturition.

The arrival of her second set of twind brings home the hurt and confusion caused by her duality that drives her on the one hand to pursue her enemies in Cymru and punish them whilst hating to have to leave her babies behind to continue the Pharoic dynasty.

This chapter explores the hurt and confusion caused by these two conflicting issues in Drustina's life.

Newly edited through the unforgiving seventh grade English teacher. There are a few minor changes but nothing to alter the story. You will notice a change from first person narrative to third person in some scenes. This is intentional. The primary focus is from Bob/Sarah's point of view. I shifted to third person when Bob/Sarah was not involved in the scene and for areas where scene setting is involved. With that in mind it should lessen any confusion. I trust this helps convince you there is a method for the writers madness and it is not a lack of skill. This decision may be a failure but I did it on purpose.

My relationship with Chrissy has developed a lot because he/she has helped me since I had a big argument with Jessica.
As we’ve spent time together I’ve been able to get to know her and I’ve realised she is definitely more girl than boy and I’ve been amazed how she has grown in confidence since she started working for Kate.

It’s just like she’s been a girl all her life and whereas she was quiet as Chris she is very assured as Chrissy.

It takes me awhile to get a hold of myself. All the adrenaline is starting to wind out of me and I’m starting to feel all my hurts. The welts from the paintballs, the tackling and the all out fighting. My arms and my hands are killing me. Angie comes over from somewhere with things of ice for my and some pills for the pain. She looks me in the eyes and fresh tears spill out of hers and she hugs me. “Oh God Jenna, thank you, thank you, thank you…I knew some of the kids were having issues with Hunter but…Oh thank you honey.”
