Story Idea: "I Was A Craigslist Trophy Wife"

The title sums it up pretty well.

"Late 20s MtF who can't afford to transition
seeking wealthy man willing to pay my way
in exchange for becoming their ideal trophy
wife. Contract/prenup to be discussed."

Something like that. I could never write something like that, but the idea itself seemed plausible enough (in a totally messed up "why would somebody do that" kind of way) that I wanted to see if someone else thought they could pull it off.

A Superhero Challange

Others have commented about the recent trend of transgenderizing comic heroes, but one very obvious candidate has been overlooked. I just introduced my five year old grandson to the Amazing Captain Underpants. The Captain was received with vociferous giggles and typical five year old scatological references.

However, the Captain's tighty-whities struck a wrong note in my crossdressing soul. Anybody want to take up the challenge of a female version of Captain Underpants? With panties and a training bra the female Captain would have twice the Wedgie Power of the male version!

What are these boxes?

What are these boxes that have appeared on the stories? Good or Great Story or variations of such. They appear to be hyperlinks but when I hover on them nothing comes up in my browser at the bottom where links are normally ID'd. I may be paranoid but I don't click on anything if I don't know where it wants to take me. Managed to avoid a lot of crap that way.

Dealing with abuse as a woman cyclist - one woman's solution.

Every woman who cycles experiences abuse from male motorists and pedestrians, I've been happy slapped and shouted at, but I'd never have had the nerve to do what Dawn Foster did - she started blogging about it on a website called - you'll love this - 101 wankers.

See the link to the story on the Guardian's web site.

Scouts Halloween Party or (my first time 'out')

I wasn't crazy about the idea, but my sister had a way of talking anyone into doing anything. She often had me doing things that I was more than a bit apprehensive about.

She got me to dance, which I considered to be more than a little bit 'Girly'. She'd play Mom's old 45's. The 'Big Bopper', Buddy Holly, Hell, even 'Kookie' Ed Byrnes! from "77 Sunset Strip". She had this entire routine choreographed to "Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb". It was Hilarious!!!

Chapter 13 is posted for the Omega Unicorn

Hello lovers of the sea in the BC Universe

I posted Chapter 13. We have the introduction of Eingana, the Mother of all Sea Dragons. We'll see her again later in Book 1 and in Book 2.

I also updated the Character List as well. This includes Eingana and some other sea dragon names that we will see later. I also included the SRU Wizard as well.

I tried to bring some emotion into this chapter when the people see the ship wreckage and the skeletons of the sea dragons seen near the island for the first time.

Jamie Finds Acceptance

Jamie Finds Acceptance

By Patricia Marie Allen

I remember when it started. It was a Saturday in the September of my eighth year. My sister had a nine o'clock dentist appointment and my brother was spending the weekend with friends. I should have been able to sleep in, but Dad got a call from work. He worked in the maintenance department and something had gone wrong with the compressor and it had to be fixed before Monday at six a.m. He woke me at eight and told me that he had to leave and it would be up to me to get the Goodwill bags out on the porch for the Boy Scouts by nine.

I Write Like...

Edeyn Okay, so I spend a lot of time on FaceBook, and many of my friends and relatives post memes {pronounced 'meem'} -- the little tests that tell you what character from movie X you are like, or what kind of bean you're like, or how many roads you must travel {42}, etc. I normally don't even give them thought, but a good friend of mine who is pretty much the embodiment of youthful exuberance even though she's approaching 30 posted a fantastically interesting one that I had to try.

Tight Money insperation.

I had to write a bit about where the father character came from in "Tight Money"

Actually, I see my own father in that role. Not that I ever had an experience with another cross-dresser at a young age, but his attitude was right there, without the experiences of Rikki's dad.

My specialist subject is...

Well, I have read very many stories here that discuss American football. It seems to be taken as read that the world understands the references. I have written rugby into my tale, a sport that has a far, far wider following than gridiron, but I realise that there are many folk who know absolutely nothing of it.
I have also written one of my other passions into my stuff, namely music. I get really into the swing and the flow and....
How do people write a "specialist" episode without spending half a chapter explaining "pastime for dummies"?

California puts same-sex marriages on hold

I've seen a few blog entries over time dealing with California's "Proposition 8" - apparently there's been a last-minute delay in getting it repealed...

A federal appeals court has put same-sex weddings in California on hold while it considers whether the state's gay marriage ban is constitutional.

A three-judge panel in the US Circuit Court of Appeals blocked a lower court's ruling that would have allowed gay marriages to begin on Wednesday.

PDF format in stories

I have been reading and enjoying the stories on this site for a little over 2 months now. I have been saving the PDF formats to a stick drive to read at work since this site is blocked and it is the only time I have to read them. Now when I come back from vacation, there is no more PDF available. What is the reason for this? I am disappointed.

Bike - my falling off one - update.

For those of you who enjoy my scribbles, it might please you to know that our practice nurse thinks I'll live a bit longer, after she checked my leg. It still bloody hurts, especially when standing up from sitting or sitting from standing. Which means I'm on sick leave for the next day or two. Dunno which is worse the boredom from inaction, or the pain when I try to move.

Sitting at a computer probably doesn't help especially when I try to get up afterwards.

No Princess For Hire This Week

And no, I don't have that good of an excuse. I could go on about how I'm having trouble figuring out exactly how to write the next part (which is true,) or about how I've been so exhausted after working on server issues and redoing several days' worth of hotel paperwork and all of that in the middle of a nine-day stretch at work (which is also true,) but really, those aren't the biggest reason I'm running behind.

Something Feels Strange - 52

Feels Strange   Mrs. Harrison gives me a tight hug before turning to the rest and nodding her readiness to get back to the meeting. They return to the conference room to continue whatever planning they are doing. Dr. Quinn smiles and winks at me as he returns with the group. I’m pretty sure that he knew what my answer would be. He knows me too well.

Now, I only have to await the decision.

It’s going to be a long afternoon––

Chapter 52: We're Not Done Yet

Agony.

I really don't know how much more I can take. After every shift at my work, I am in such pain I can hardly walk. I wake in the middle of every night having to stifle a scream from the pain. Something has to change, and soon. The only good news I have is that I now have a picture of myself that my counselor took on my last session:

From the Other Side

Zach loved the outdoors: the fresh air, the open spaces, the rugged mountains, the sheer diversity of nature. Maybe what he liked most was the fact that there wasn't any of those damn LGBT types out there. Heck, that was why he was out there now, them and their damn Pride parade! Still, storming through the woods and mountain trails helped work off some of the anger, though there was still a lot left. Maybe if he wasn't so angry, he would have paid more attention to where he was going that misty morning, would have been more sure of his footing. Unfortunately, such things are left as afterthoughts of such incidents and looked back on in hindsight.

Psst. Hey...

I've been fiddling around with a small website. A place to warehouse cleaner versions of my stories, and to post tales that either are not yet ready for prime time (i.e. posting here), or are languishing in my pitiful brain.

Clearly, I have too much time on my hands.

Anyway, I've added a tiny amount of content, and will add more as it happens in real time. (Exciting, no? Or is the answer to that actually 'no!')

Golly, America is a big place! However, much to my astonishment, I ran into a Muslim woman at a motel in Sherman, Wy. Wow. We hope to be back on line Tuesday night, and how I have missed you all. I simply can't say how little the fact that I am trans and Muslim matters to anyone. Everyone has been so friendly. See ya all later. miss you.

Anonymous Attack "Reviews" Are Not Tolerated

Attack "reviews" in the style common on another TG site are not tolerated here. Whingeing that something was not worth reading is not criticism, it's just ego. Doing so anonymously will get the whinger banned from BC.

If one of your stories gets review-bombed, don't answer the reviewer just PM me.

Hugs to all,

Complaints About Genres, or Themes and Elements in Content

There have been a number of complaints recently about Genre and Content. The complaints are always of the form, "There's too much _________ here, I can't find anything to read." With sometimes nastier comments included, attacking whatever the person doesn't like as being poorly written or worthless in general.

This will stop.

I'm taking a harder stance on this because I'm getting tired of removing such blogs and comments as violations of the Terms of Service.

The TOS here is really simple, it's in the motto at the top of the front page, "A friendly place..."

On the release of 300 Rains

Okay, so this is the beginning of a novel length story that I am planning on releasing a chapter a week, probably on Sundays. It may be a little shaky here at first, release wise as I am still dealing with the fallout of the death of my wife's mother and needing to take our daughter up to Ohio for school, so it is going to be a bit crazy for a while. It will calm down and the story will get to you guys.

single, and not loving it

I know that its not a big thing to complain about, but I really am feeling the lack of a companion in my life. As I have become more intergrated, I have found that the desire for a partner has gotten stronger. Its more than a desire for sex, but a wish for someone to hold me when i am upset, tell me I am beautiful when I feel ugly, and who will stand with me come what may. ah, well.

A RELUCTANT SPIRIT — FILTERED SPIRITS

By Ingrid Halb

Dan's wife Chrystal, owns the magical vessel but Dan wants to wish for his wife and him to have nicer things. Unfortunately for Dan, she lets him. A cautionary tale set to remind us to appreciate our significant others and appreciate the efforts taken to keep a house clean and tidy.

Plot device tactcs

I have my plot nicely sorted, I know where my characters are going, I have a several of chapters in hand, but I have a small stall in a particular detail.
So here I am, typing this while listening to music and occasionally playing along on the mandolin. It usually works....but any other tactics used to try and shake the nuts and bolts into place?

Not only did Zack force her to share a womb, but he's aways arranged for her to be blamed for his lifelong efforts to become a girl like her.
