The school was a sight to behold, far beyond anything I had ever imagined. It stood before me, a testament to elven elegance and grandeur, its towers and spires reaching gracefully into the sky. Every detail of the architecture seemed to shimmer with the same fluid design I had come to expect from the elven world, but this place was on a grander scale. As we approached the entrance, I, Sam, couldn't help but feel out of place. The courtyard was a sea of elves—tall, graceful, and otherworldly. I scanned the crowd, hoping to see another human, but there were none.

Ronnie was already behind her desk, and in response to Maryam’s “Morning!” as the three of us walked in together, Ronnie simply said, “Very chipper this morning, Ms Rahman!”, before shutting her mouth more than a second after speaking.

Carol’s arm was wrapped around her as they slept close to each other. The two of them had made love most of the night and she had enjoyed every minute of it. It had been a long time since someone has made her feel like she did last night. Carol had touched her in places that the men she had slept with had never touched. Angel closes her eyes and let herself drift off to a peaceful sleep.

Rose looks around trying to get her bearings. She remembered crying herself to sleep after telling Sasha what happened to her, but she couldn’t figure out how she had gotten into Sasha’s bed.

Rose stumbles out of Sasha’s bed and notice she was wearing a nightshirt that came down to her ankles. It was just a plain purple nightshirt.

Angel was nervous as she got ready for her date. She hasn’t been on a date since her break-up with Mitch Edwards while she was station in Germany. The girls were with their grandmothers and Lisa tonight. After they had come home from dropping her sister off with their mother. She and the girls had come back here to the house and started making dinner with the girls help. Angel had found out that both girls loved to cook. She had stood back while the girls took charge of the kitchen. She’ll have to remember to tell her mother’s that they might have a pair of cooks on their hands.

I settled into my bed & breakfast, which was just as charming as it seemed online.

I met Charles, the proprietor and his mom, Mrs Claypoole. After I got settled, they invited me downstairs to share tea. We chatted and I got an interrogation every bit as thorough as Tina's father. Only this was amiable and seemed based on genuine curiosity. It was also 'full duplex' as my father the engineer would say. I learned at least as much about them as they did about me.

While he has been observing him, Jack had planted incendiary devices and used drones at night time to spray the cocaine fields with a mixer of plant killer and jet fuel. Tonight, he was going to make sure these fields can’t be used again. Jack wanted a message to be sent so other cartels know not to mess with him or any one from now on. He knows that’s it isn’t going to stop them, but it might give them reasons to pause.

Luca’s father, Marco turned out to be a real sweetie. Over the next few days I got to know him quite well. As for his wife of 31 years, Niamah was nowhere to be seen. She’d seen Marco embracing me at the station and hadn’t been seen since.

We found out a few days later that she was staying with Gina. That little bit of news made me feel a whole lot better. Marco seemed to agree with my statement of ‘She’s lost it’.

They both hugged her and gave her a kiss on her cheek. Angels felt warm and fuzzy when the girls did this to her. She wonders if her mother’s felt this way when she did something similar?
