Chapter 16 – My first date
Even after we had drunk our coffee, I was still trying to sort out my muddled feelings, but I was brought back to reality with a rude jerk. Without ceremony my mother broke in upon my thoughts. “Now young lady, there’s a lot to do before this evening.”

“I’ll get my apron.” I sighed.

Not all the stories my friend's tell are set in Benton. Some are urban legends from other small towns. The following story is one that was told to us by our friend Taylor Croft. Taylor was not born in Benton, but her mother was and her family is of old Benton stock. Taylor was born in Madison and raised in Yazoo City until a few months ago when her mom suffering from a bad divorce moved her and her daughter back to her hometown. Anyway it's with her permission that I'm posting her story here for others to read and enjoy.

Chapter 15 – A learning experience
It was around noon the following day when Mrs Bell drove me back home. The events of the previous evening were already hazy in my recollection.
“See you again, honey!” My hostess smiled, as I made to open the car door. “And soon, I hope!” she whispered conspiratorially, winking and placing her hand on my thigh. Her action triggered thoughts of the previous evening, giving rise to deep blushes and an immediate tingle down there.

"Sorry, I'm a bit late. My mother called while I was getting ready to leave and… well, she just would not stop talking,” said Maxine.

Michel laughed as he got into her car.
“I’m glad mine is several thousand miles away.”

I awoke to feel him pushing himself into me. I was on my front. I drew my head up by pulling my elbows up under my breasts.

Marian had never made a secret of her disapproval of Sarah, her daughter’s choice in husband. Sarah was her only child and she only wanted what was best for her, Jason just wasn’t it. He was an artist, a musician she had met in college. Always writing songs, trying to get a breakthrough as he wrote, composed, played or just listened to music for inspiration. She was convinced he had no chance of succeeding and was just throwing his own and Sarah’s future away chasing a dream.

The election is less than a year away. The Queen has found a leader for a new party to oppose the existing Feminista parties. The polls show that many women and men won't vote against the feminist parties, for fear of reprisal. Peter has been injured saving a police officers life. His bravery has capture the attention of the nation. The Queen needs to find a way to use this to her advantage.

There never was the possibility of light at the end of my tunnel because my world was so dark I had never been able to see the tunnel.

The following story takes place in the Arctic Fox universe, but at this moment isn’t part of canon. It may be later, but I haven’t decided on that. For now, consider it a ‘what if’ story.
