Crystal has gotten used to being a girl, a Nymph, a Muse, and even a mother figure, but is she really ready to go to an all-girls school and start working at Pandora's Box? The life of a trouble magnet is never easy.
“Uh… shit,” Adora mumbled, looking suddenly very sheepish. “I… uhhh… might have tricked Crystal into promising that she would stop making excuses and perform tonight. Heh, is there any way for her to get out of it, Rhissa?”
I stood naked beside the bed, still holding my wet towel. What the hell was going on around here?
I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a skeptic, but haunted houses were things you found in movies, not in real life. Point one: I was the only one in the place. Counterpoint one: I had left the door open, not to mention the windows.
It was a part of the swamp that I did not know well. It was well off the beaten track, and I had prepared myself even to stop and camp overnight with some gear packed into my kayak. I was aware that there were some houses which could only be accessed by water in that reach, some of them old and some more recent structures which sought the privacy of extreme isolation.
As Greg and Jill’s budding relationship turns into boyfriend and girlfriend, they discover that they have a shared affinity to play a fun dress-up game in which they make themselves into two identical girls.
Black Cat Investigations – that’s what it says on the door to my downtown office.,
I’m Black by the way. No, I don’t mean that I’m black. Do I confuse you? What I mean is that my name is Black but I don’t have any African roots (that I know about). Actually, I’m white, almost albino white, blonde (nice wavy hair), 6’4”, 200 lbs almost purely muscles apart from the skeleton, firm chin, chiseled features, snappy dresser and so on.

Marcia is seventeen, and along with Darryl, has moved south in Alaska to attend the Anchorage campus of the Alaska State University. She wants to pursue her dream, but will it pursue her instead?
I want to thank Malady, once again, for his help checking through this story for the many errors I frequently insert, as well as listening to my sometimes completely crazy ideas about the direction of the story and telling me how crazy they are!

Marcia
was out riding Tigger when Darryl phoned her.
“Hi,
Foxy,” he said when she answered. “Can you come up to
the house? We need to talk about something.”
“Do
you want to meet me at the stable?” she asked him.
“No,
I think we need to talk in the house about this,” He told her.
“What’s
this about?” she asked. “You’re sounding kinda
cryptic.”
“Nothing
bad, Foxy. I promise that.”
“Okay,
now I’m getting suspicious,” she said as she steered the
horse toward the barn.

Wonders of Weird, Manhattan, New York:

The Other Side of Me – Part 19
by Limbo’s Mistress
I was completely, utterly, and totally speechless.
Of all the things I expected to be revealed when I sat down across from the Kappa Omega head girl, the very last thing on that list would have been the announcement that she knew about the dimensional shift. To say that a whole new twist had been added would be the understatement of the year.
Luckily, I recovered my wits after a few seconds and put on my most confused expression, hoping it seemed sincere.
I didn’t realise at the time how much a Halloween night out with my older sister Jenny when I was 13 years old would affect my life and would come back to haunt me many years later.
The throbbing in my head told me that something wasn't quite right when I regained consciousness. I felt something soft under me. That said 'you are in a bed'. The bleeping of a monitor told me that I was in a hospital. That in turn meant official records which leads to questions and possibly awkward ones at that.
The six show girls for Sunday were me, Elizabeth, Katrina, Eliise, Catlin and Karmen. Joanna was helping Halina by selling posters at ‘Answer’ and Marlen was with Ezuli selling posters and tunics beside ‘Maidens’.
Berget was told to just take it easy today; we didn’t want her being taken off to give birth just yet.
“I know you. Fact is I know hundreds just like you. Gateshead wasn’t it. You were about to blow me in to Social Services weren’t you? Nosey busy bodies like you should learn to just mind your own business. I know you’ll blow me in because you’re a teacher and you have to. I don’t need Social Services and I don’t need you, your do gooder intentions, nor your sympathy. I’ve no intention of telling you or anyone else anything about me. Bye.”
When they arrived both Ashley and her mother were all giggles. It took them multiple trips to bring all of Ashley’s new clothes up to her bedroom by which time the floor was literally littered with. They were so consumed by the fun atmosphere that remained after their shopping trip that they didn’t even think about Keira.
I think that I am smart for a fourteen year old. I mean, I am really good at school, but I think that I know people, and I think that is what being really clever is all about. And I knew my father better than anybody else does, including him. I certainly knew him better than Mom ever did.
I don’t mean to say anything bad about Mom. She died three years ago in a car accident. I was only eleven but that is an age when I think that you understand everything pretty well. I did.
