Enemy of Fun said it better than eye in a footnote to her latest story - " As I’m sure all of you know, comments are life blood to an author. I’m not begging or demanding, but I certainly would appreciate anything you have to say (or ask). It doesn’t have to be long and involved, just give me your reaction to the story. Thanks in advance...EOF".
I have noticed that comments seemed to have dried up lately. Can we put it down to the weather? I mean not just the effect on the extremities but giving rise to a hibernative torpidity?
Just asking. I am almost out of blood.

Frozen Hands Part Deux
Like all too many readers, I do not comment too often. A large part of this is because, I am usually reading on my (small screen) not-so smart-phone. I suffer from an old age affliction referred to as "fat fingers". When I was (much) younger, I could palm a basketball -- now I cannot but my fingers are significantly more swollen than in my younger days! And yes, I am typing on my regular (and mis-typing and retyping and...) keyboard at this time. It is relatively easy for me to hit the Kudos icon on my 'phone but typing letters and words is a PITB! And I am in enough pain as it is!
I know that there are those that would say you could use voice-activated writing aka Siri or Alexa but then you run into Ottocorrect er Autocorrect that does not always do its job!

FWIW
I’ve noticed a bit of a decline in engagement since around, say, early November of last year. Which correlates with events in the sidereal universe, though I know just enough statistics to understand that correlation is not causation. In any event, it’s definitely not just you. I’m hoping the phenomenon is a passing one.

Thanks
Thanks for those words of comfort, Emma

I try to comment as much as I can
but even I am only human.
Your Blog
After I saw your Blog, I looked on the front page for one of your stories.
I left the site and stopped publishing for a long time because of that issue. Having cooled off somewhat, I have started reading again.
My writing tends toward BDSM so unless I gut a new story, you won't see it here.
