A friendly place to read, write and discuss Transgender Fiction.
Home of 3000+ chapters of Easy as Falling off a Bike by Angharad and many other stories.
I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
John goes to the Halloween party dressed as Alice in Wonderland and has a great time,
but he has a nagging feeling of guilt because he's keeping secrets from Blaine.
Miss Stephanie makes several more appearances, too.
The week at the ski lodge in New Hampshire continues as does Alice's tutelage of Allie.
I never know if anyone will like these stories until I post them.
The quiet hum of monitors filled David’s hospital room, the soft beeping marking the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. His mother and Emma had just stepped out for coffee, leaving him alone in his still-unconscious state. The fluorescent lights above cast a pale glow over his motionless form.
The peace was shattered when one of the machines began to emit a shrill, rapid alarm. A nurse, passing by the door, rushed in to check the monitors. Her eyes widened as she read the rapidly climbing numbers on the screen.
When Monique said she would tidy, she TIDIED!! By the time Monique faded, Danny was exhausted. He felt like he should be drenched in sweat, but while there were a few spots of marinara sauce on his mom's apron, he felt fresh. Half afraid, he looked in the bathroom mirror but while his hair and makeup were immaculate and as they had been since his look in what he thought of as the Penny mirror and he still sported the gold chain necklace with now three pearls, there was no Monique usurpation this time. The house was spotless, the dinner was all prepared, the table set - just as his mom did it when she had her girlfriends over for tea and bridge he noted - and Monique's voice whispered in his mind that the chicken parmesan was due out of the oven in half an hour, approximately ten minutes after Valerie was due to arrive.
Bobby is reunited with two people he thought he'd never see again, but Cori, Terri and Aunt Joan seem to have disappeared. Could they have been part of the dream he's woken from? If so, then why is he still wearing a frilly pink dress?
Sandy was not happy with her mom, but her dad made things worse. Would the sleepover make things better or worse? What will her dad do if he found out about the sleepover? Is Sandy still upset with Em?
Thanks to Rebekkah deMere for her expert nit-picking that helps me keep the story on track. Thanks also to Crystal (C.Sprite) for her excellent story “I Can’t Go Home Like This”. It reminded me of some personal experiences that will be turning up in this and the next few chapters. You can find that story at Crystal’s Story Site.
Will Matt be allowed to discover and accept his inner self?
Or will he be stuck being someone he doesn't want to be?
How much does love and understanding by
someone else affect the outcome?
This is my first effort, with a few minor tweaks. Some of you may have seen it at FM some months back. For those that haven't...
The follow up will be posted in a few days.
His wife's infidelity forces a young man to re-evaluate his life. A gentle tale of self realisation.
Danny recoiled. Pearl had told him he was a girl because he could see the pink mist around the lamppost, and now he was seeing pink mist again, around a letter that hadn't been there moments before. He wasn't a girl! At least the last time he'd stood to piss he wasn't. He snuck a hand down to check and felt the familiar bulge and was reassured till he looked in the mirror and saw the made-up face, hair, and shoulders of a person who looked disturbingly like Cristina Aguilera, definitely a girl. What the hell was going on!? He tried once again to change his face back to a more masculine look by reaching for the makeup remover. Blinkswitch! He found himself with a piece of paper in his hand and the opened envelope on the vanity. Glancing in the mirror and seeing no further feminization, he decided not to push things and read:
Mary relizes she doesn't even know Sandy's favorite color. “I'm really not doing that good a job as a mother, am I? I’m so ashamed.” Mary was going to cry, so I pulled her into a hug before she lost it. “Oh Mary don’t cry, I’m sure you’re doing the best you can. No one is perfect.” Mary said, "I really need to get to know my S ... ah daughter."

Will never disappear, I've seen that road before It always leads me here,
leads me to your door." -- The Beatles

The Final Chapter
by Angel O'Hare
We drove through, and passed several huge homes and a few where you only saw a gate and driveway. It took us another five minutes to get to Betty's estate. When we pulled up to a set of beautifully carved, solid wooden gates, Harry stopped and pressed a button in a box attached to his sun visor. The gates slid open slowly, and I entered a different world…

Dream a Little Dream

Oh GEEZE! Barbara had a large manila envelope in her hands! She was smiling ear to ear and giggling as well! I knew what she had and I didn't like it much! Sylvia had given her some of the pictures! I made her promise never to show them to anyone. I don't think she meant it! I saw her keep her fingers crossed as she promised me and we all know what that means!..
Just Who’s Closet is it Anyway? Part 2 — The Twin Dilemma
The strange closet machine continued it’s humming, the device in the center of the control consol rising and falling hypnotically. Danny reviewed his predicament calmly and out loud.
