'Alterations' continues the story of Stacy's journey from 'Exchanged' and 'Little Hope.' Stacy is a young college student who chose to travel to a new dimension to study their advanced computing technology at a prestigious university as an exchange student. Stacy thought he knew what he was getting into when he traveled, but multiple events show that he didn't plan for every problem he would encounter. Recently on a trip his adoptive parents adopted another Little, Bella, to help prevent her from being taken by unscrupulous Amazons. Stacy now begins orientation and classes at Emerson as the small family attempts to stay safe from the outside threat. Can Stacy manage to navigate college classes and everything the dimension can throw at him, and still make it back home with a degree? (Story set in the Diaper Dimension)
Eli grew up on a ranch in Montana. He had heard about Incursions, Breaches, and the Titans that came through those breaches to slaughter some people and capture others. To him though, it had always been something that happened far away to other people. His life was forever changed though when a Breach opened near his home, everything he knew was destroyed or taken, and he ended up Altered.
Altered Chapter 22: Kinda Terrifying

The big man was wavering almost instantly, struggling to keep on his feet and keep glaring at me. “Wha… d’you do?”
A school for superpowered children seemed like a good idea and definitely a change from fighting mad geniuses and superhuman brutes. But who knew that helping set up a school for super-powered teenagers would be so challenging? Not to mention dangerous and exciting...
You can live with a lot of pain if it creeps up on you over a long time, so slowly that you have time to get used to it and don't even notice it's gradually getting worse and worse. You can live with a lot of pain if it's always been there and you've never known anything different. Then one day, for one reason or another, it goes away for a little while. And when it comes back, you realize you can't live with it anymore.
Twelve year old Johnny wants to play Barbies with his sisters, but Barbies are for girls. How can Johnny join the game? A sweet, sentimental story about a young boy's discovery of the girl he should have been with the help of his sisters and mother. This is a story I wrote a couple of years ago and I am posting it here for those who would like to know more about Dr. Jenny Mitchell. It is complete, for those who anguish over being left hanging, but too long for a single post.
Easy As Getting Wet.

We slept almost as soon as we got to bed, or at least I did. Despite my naps, I was exhausted. At some point during the night, I remember Simon waking me, I was crying in my sleep apparently.
It was lovely to wake with him still there, instead of dashing off to work. I looked at the clock, it was nearly eight o'clock. He was snoring gently as he lay on his back, his arm draped across my leg. I moved it gently without disturbing him and lay on my side, my head raised upon my elbow, watching him.
Some readers didn't think that the previous story stood well on its own. I had some spare time and (hopefully) creativity, so here is Part 2 of "The Other Me".

There were people standing over me and I felt incredibly sick. Some one was rubbing and patting my hand and I wanted them to stop. Others were asking me if I was alright. Clearly I wasn't.
“Mfanwy, Mfanwy Morgan, could I have a word please?”
Why was Miss B calling me Mfanwy?
“Sure Miss Bell, what’s up?”
“Could you follow me please?”
Oh-oh, am I in trouble? What’s wrong now?
I followed Miss B into a conference room. As soon as I entered, on the opposite side of the room, I saw the three boys that assaulted me last week in the boy’s loo, standing by the blackboard, looking uncomfortable. I froze in place with a terrified look on my face. I was just about to turn and run when Miss B gently grabbed me and led me the rest of the way into the room. I noticed six other adults I didn’t recognize, sitting around the table in the center of the room. I assumed them to be the parents of the three boys. Miss Cowlishaw and Mr. Pilling were there also.

Simon went off to work and I felt glad that he was going to do what he could to help. I knew his family had loads of influence, but they'd have to play it a bit carefully or be accused of trying to influence an independent organisation.

In the late Christmas afternoon I was in my room, sitting in a chair, hugging my knees and feeling glad to be clean and warm, when I heard two women talking outside. It sounded like friendly banter, but it never stopped or let up. I figured that the two were walking slowly, but they never seemed to move on. And they didn't quit jabbering for an instant. Finally, out of curiosity, I looked out the window.
