Is the Cure worse than the Disease? In this story Stevie’s cure is much better than his disease. In fact his cure was not only more enjoyable it was also life changing in many ways.

“Computer, tell me the history about how the sex simulators went from an expensive luxury to free.”

There was no response.

“Computer, tell us the history about how the sex simulators went from an expensive luxury to free,” Chen echoed.

It started into the history, but Chen asked it to stop.

“Computer, how many people are in this building?”

“One.”

“Computer, how many life forms are in this building?”

“Five.”

“Computer, can I register the other life forms here as people?”

“Yes.”

Thomas shook hands with the lawyer and said, “Eighteen years, I think, Dan. You look good.”

“I still run. Not as fast as we were in high school: Rathmore and Ryder, top two high school middle distance runners three years in a row. But I can still do a five k run, take a shower, and go to work.”

This is a bit of a what if storyline, the start mirrors my own life but makes the choice I never did. I was around 8 when this story happens and as I came out as a trans woman later in life makes me wonder what if.

The following Monday, Genesis met up with Charlotte at school to tell her what had happened.

"You've got to be kidding me," Charlotte said when Genesis had finished explaining what had went down at the party. "You actually turned Jesse into a girl?"

"Yes, I did," said Genesis.

Charlotte shook her head. "Well, I'll bet Jessie's gonna have a tough time adjusting to being a girl," she said. "Did he-or she-text you at all after you changed her?"

"No," said Genesis. "She said we were breaking up. And now I'm starting to regret turning him into a girl."
